There was a small problem with the installation where one of the brackets was pinching an electrical wire and causing it to short out. But after we had an electrician out to figure out the problem, T&C agreed it was a mistake and paid the electrician's invoice. Everyone we deal with was very friendly."

He did this very quickly, despite having to climb over furniture and enter tight spaces to place the contacts. I was astounded when after he finished, he sat down and gave me a full tutorial on using the system. He showed me all of it's capabilities, and answered my many questions . I could not believe how much easier and more up to date this security system was to use than my old one. I have had many, many technicians in my home from the prior system, but absolutely none were as knowledgeable, personable, efficient or professional as Larry. He would not leave until I was comfortable, and even then advised me to call if I needed anything or had more questions. He was amazing.!!! A few days after my system was installed, I triggered a false alarm. The monitoring station called right away and did not hang up until assured that all was well. I did not have to wait or try to call them and get put on hold like with my old system. I only wish that I had more houses for them to install their system into, but since I don't, I plan to refer them to everyone that I know. 1st Security is affordable, state of the art and comprehensive. They are honest with no fine print that you have to worry about! I sincerely appreciate Jeremy and Larry and sleep so much better because of them . Thank you 1st Security!!!"

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "I had a heavy glass shower door that was mounted into slate shower tile. The top bracket started stripping out from the wall, and I contacted Nick to re-secure the door. (This was after I had already spoken with several contractors whom were either not comfortable or interested in doing the job or just pushed me aside.) Nick promptly called Sunday evening to discuss the project and came out Tuesday to look at the door. We discussed a plan and he came back out the following day to do the job. He was very professional and his work was outstanding. Instead of trying to sell me a new door or a new tile-job in the shower (both of which would have been very pricey), he was able to conservatively fix the issue. Would definitely hire again."

"While I was pleased with the salesman from Stay Dry I WOULD NOT recommend this offer to anybody. Stay Dry will send an inspector/salesman to your house for free to do the same thing I paid a hundred dollars for, it was Angie's List that pocketed the money. I called the Stay Dry 800 number and was told they do not receive any money from the offer listed here, when I asked who was getting the money they said Angie's List. I was then told that after the inspection/salesman meeting I would receive a coupon for $200-300 off the actual drainage installation service from Angie's List should I choose to go ahead with the project, but I NEVER GOT A COUPON. So I paid a hundred dollars for a service that is offered free by the actual provider, while the site I look to to save me money on scams and bad contractors actually ripped me off!

"Things went pretty well the work was done quickly and professionally. The technician was patient as I peppered him with questions since this is my first gas log fireplace. The only problem, and this was a complete accident, was that when taking out the sooty logs to clean them he dropped one on the rug outside my door. That would have not been a big deal had he told me about it, but not telling me allowed me to step in it and track it around a bit before noticing it. Luckily it was only spread to hard surfaces and was easy enough to clean up.
