"Blaze acquired Comfort Master, the company that originally installed my HVAC unit 8 years ago. So, I hired them for an annual inspection. They told me the heat exchange unit was cracked and needed to be replaced. The part was still under warranty. They quoted me a price of $2,600 for the labor. I asked how long the job would take and the tech said 3-5 hours. That is $650/hour! I told them I would get someone else to look at it. I then said I needed a thermostat installed and I had the item. They quoted me $500 for a 15 minute job to hook it up. These prices were absolutely crazy to me. The second company I brought in agreed the heat exchanger was cracked and said it was probably due to improper installation. Before he left, the tech told me about a plan for $349/year for an annual inspection of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. I agreed to buy that, as that was a good deal versus what you would normally pay for all 3 separately. A few weeks later they sent a tech over for the electrical inspection. I started getting concerned after he told me 4 times how frugal he was personally. I was right. He gave me a list of things that needed fixing totaling over $10,000. I then contacted my regular electrician and gave him the list. He recommended only 2 items on it costing under $500. Be very wary of Blaze, they gouge and do unnecessary work."

He was extremely knowledgeable about exactly what type of system to install along with carefully listening to what mine and my wife's needs were so that he could make sure to meet them, which he fully did. Two thumbs up to Stuart along with Jeremy and Robb who came out and did an amazing job on our whole house water filtration system install. It was also very impressive that there is still a company out there that when they say they will be there, they are! Very punctual and the follow-up was superb. "Having been a Premier Indoor Comfort Systems customer for over 10 years, they used to be an honorable company. I can no longer recommend Premier as an honest HVAC company. The short version - Premier came out to perform our summer inspection. One of our HVAC systems could not maintain cooling. Premier claimed we needed them to perform over $2300 of "cleaning" services to restore the function of the A/C system. Their work order noted that they did not check the refrigerant level of the system - a service they advertise on their web site as part of the bi-annual inspection. Not wanting to spend over $2300 on an older system, I contacted another HVAC company for a 2nd opinion. The 2nd company performed the same service, observed that unit was over 2 lbs low on refrigerant, added refrigerant to the system, and restored the system to service for $ 349. I left (2) messages for the service manager Mark Harman and (1) for John Stezzi (business). They failed to return my calls."

"Call Ricky for honest work. These guys are the absolute best and will be getting every bit of my business going forward. Our furnace wouldn't turn on last night so we regrettably called a different company to swing by for a quote and a repair. Their diagnoses was a bad electrical control circuit, and quoted us $1550 for the repair ($1200) and cleaning. Luckily, my neighbor knew of Jordan's H&C and put me in touch with Ricky. Ricky was at my house within 15 minutes of the call. I showed up a few minutes after he did and Ricky already had my furnace running. Control panel was fine - a quick repair on a burnt wire and properly seating a fuse had my system good to go. I wanted to pay the men for their prompt and honest work but they just requested I give them a call when I had a real problem come up. Can't thank these guys enough, quite literally saved us thousands of dollars while fixing our furnace within 20 minutes of calling them."

"Very responsive to come out ainitially and access damage and get fixed as all was paid for by insurance. They also agreed to installing a skylight where the tree came thru (there was not a skylight before). It was installed well and has never leaked. That's all the good news I have folks. HOWEVER we had 'total replacement to original status' insurance coverage and first go around all they were going to do was patch damaged areas of roof. matching tiles "as best they can". After much bickering back and forth, they finally replaced entire roof. 3 times. yes, three times as the first 2 times work was substandard- and eaked. They did not overlap roof tiles and did not flash properly. When insurance overseer finally agreed to redo entire roof to "original" with a 30 year guarantee, she was subsequently fired by the insurance company after the job was done. Inside the house, the subcontractor they hired to fix our wall and ceiling was horrendous. "Johnny" from Mississippi put up a wall that was not linear -nit bowed. He said our house was crooked and he could not fix that. There was a good 2 feet crawl space between inside wall and outside house. We insisted he redo it (multiple times.) till he got it straight, finally, He said "the wife" was being too fussy. Then he replaced smooth ceiling with a popcorn ceiling because he said he couldn't fix the drywall plaster lines...now we have the task of taking off the popcorn, replacing the drywall ceiling, and replastering correctly. . We grew weary of him and decided not to have him redo. As for coming "on time", well, we learned that "on time" is a relative term...seems to mean just showing up sometime in the morning. Bottom line: Don't let your insurance company bully you into using this company and certainly do NOT hire them on your own."
