"After paying my deposit to have just THREE columns in front of my house scraped free of the crumbling paint and repainted, this company completely ghosted me. No follow-up calls, no updates—nothing. I had to chase them down multiple times just to find out when they’d even start the job. At the consultation, I was told the project would begin in about a week. A MONTH later—with ZERO communication— I had to contact the company directly.. again.. to get an actual start date. With the start date locked in finally, I get a call at 4PM the day before, telling me they don't have what they need to match the original paint… despite me providing samples AND offering the original paint bucket with all details. I'm not sure why that wasn't mentioned in the MONTH I waited for the start date, and I'm not a paint professional, but I assume a reputable painting company should be able to figure out how to match paint, especially when the customer has the original paint bucket? Then, on the start date... the technician shows up 50 minutes late, BARELY scrapes off the old, crumbling paint, and just slaps a fresh coat on top. Total amateur hour. I actually feel sick to my stomach that this is what I'm paying almost $600 for. When I voiced my concerns to management, all I got were multiple hollow apologies and no real solutions for such armature work. Bottom line: If you want to overpay for subpar work, endless delays, and to act as your own project manager, this is the company for you."

"I was so smart to try Angi/get multiple quotes/trust in the Martinez teams' multiple glowing reviews. I was reeling from a botched DIY attempt and they literally swooped in to save the day in the most amazing way. There was not a datapoint I wouldn't 5-star them on: athey came in under competitors on the first quote, they made the paint run for me (instantly knew my builder color on sight or by record and provided me the name) to do the room and have enough for me to putter around addressing dings. They were available so quick for my tiny job and showed up Exactly on time at my door. They went above and beyond in ways both pointed out and left for me to notice and I'd detail it except I'd never want to make what was clearly a courtesy be something to be assumed as standard. "Our house is finished with a Drvit Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS). We needed a company to repair cracks and bulging in the exterior walls. We got several estimates - E.M.Texture was very competitive. What impressed us most was how patient and transparent Rob was. He explained what needed to be done and provided several alternatives depending on the scope of the work. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions. "Alpha & Omega Cotractors.has done several jobs for us, one after another when we discovered what great quality of work this company does. We have a 135 yo historical house with lot of irregular, crooked angles on walls, ceilings and floors. The plastering of the ceilings in several rooms needed repair. Fabian installed thin layer of drywall on the ceilings so that we do not need to worry about cracks in near future. This was not an easy job as we had bookcases from floor to ceiling and the drywall plates needed to be modified in several little nooks. After the ceilings and walls in the first two rooms were completed, we decided to continue with further rooms since we had found a reliable team. The price was also very competitive!! The results were great. The color of the walls was perfectly matched. Everything was kept neat and clean. The team even mopped the stairwells so that one could not even guess there had been major work with sanding and painting. At the end one young team member created a little problem. Fabian and his son came over on Sunday and personally corrected the problem. This was superb service excellence! I hope the readers read my review of another, which previously did the same jobs in other two rooms of our house with disastrous results to our historical house. After that the supervisor of that company behaved extremely arrogantly. It was a very different experience with Alpha and Omega. It is clear that accidents may happen, but it makes a huge difference what the response is. Fabian has been extremely professional and helpful. I cannot recommend him highly enough. My other, previous review was about another company, a big one with good ratings. The problems with that company were due to the fact that that a big company subcontracts all kinds of teams - even disastrous ones as in our case (I have photos in my review of paint splashes and terrible scratches on our antique floor and furniture). That is the difference to Alpha & Omega: Fabian is the owner of his company and yet he is present and hands- on when the work is being done. He takes great responsibility of getting perfect results. He is always upbeat and communicates extremely well We have now lined up more work for Fabian. His team actually already installed new flooring in one room on short notice, so that we did not need to move furniture back and forth between painting and floor work. They also painted the ceiling of our very big wraparound porch. Now we have requested his expertise with more outside painting job. You won't go wrong when selecting Alpha and Omega! You get the responsible owner to take charge and do not need to be let down with horrible subcontractors."
