"Sidney responded right away when I had some trim boards to be fixed. It was a small job that he fit in the same week. His customer service and responsiveness have made him our Go-To person to contact for upcoming painting and repairs."

"I am completely satisfied with the services provided. I had the ceilings, walls, and trim painted in most of my house (about 1600 square feet), and had drywall installed over paneling in one room. Daniel advised me of better alternatives to what I was planning, and I’m glad I took his advice (i.e., he advised to drywall over the paneling rather than filling the grooves and painting over it; and to paint trim with oil based paint for better adhesion because it was originally painted with oil based paint--which I did not notice until he pointed it out to me). He worked with a crew of two other men; they were fast (it took 4 days), neat (no drips, splashes, or marks with the paint; and cleaned up after themselves), and did a high quality job (good prep work and paint coverage). Daniel was responsive and good to work with. And, last but not least, the price was very fair. If you are considering what to do with an old paneled room, I recommend you consider installing drywall over the paneling. Daniel installed a 1/4” thick drywall over the paneling, which butts up to the door and window trim and crown molding. They used caulk to seal between the drywall and trim, which was painted to match the trim. I was concerned it would look strange, but it’s fine; I don’t think you would notice the “thin” trim unless you knew about it. We removed the baseboard, so drywall was installed to the floor and are installing new baseboard."

"Jordan did an exceptional job painting the exterior of our house(concrete board and trim). He also did ceiling repairs and other interior painting - all was excellent. He is very meticulous in his work and cleans up every day before leaves. I highly recommend him."

"Absolutely did an amazing job. Always on time and work ethic was great. He did exactly what he said he would and exactly when he would do it. He pressure washed, prepped and trimmed the exterior perfectly before starting to paint. We unfortunately ended up changing the color of our exterior house paint after he had already painted almost 1/3rd of the house and he was more than helpful and willing. Clean up and disposal was excellent. He also restained and sealed the ceiling of our outside covered porch. He had to hand sanded the entire ceiling over 4 plus days and then 3-4 coats of stain and polyurethane by hand perfectly. It is beautiful work with deep stain while preserving the wood grain and character. We have had more compliments on his work than I can express. Would recommend without reservation "

"I need decking for a 15 year old 16x24 foot deck replaced. Upon removal of the rotten decking it was discovered that many of the supports were also rotten, Eli was able to replace or repair all the cross beams and supports. He replaced all the decking and lattice work. The deck is now structurally more sound than before and saved me a lot of money instead of building a whole new deck. I am more than pleased with Eli and his work ethic and attitude. I highly recommend Eli for any and all of your indoor and outdoor projects."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Roebuck, SC

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
