I was having trouble with my landscape lights and the person on the phone coached me through a few things to check before they sent someone out, and we were able to fix it right on the spot. Very nice of them as it got my problem fixed and I didn't have to pay $125+ just to have someone come out to make an easy fix. "KBK Landscape was awesome! I met with Cary, KBK's in-house designer in January 2020 to review the project. Cary did a great job listening to our needs and helping us with ideas. Within a few days, Cary had developed some concepts and estimates. This was in contrast to some other well rated Angies List companies which I met with (a total of five companies in January 2020). Several did "back of the envelope" sketches and / or took several weeks to come back with proposals and estimates. In addition, Cary did an excellent job capturing our vision while staying within our budget. In the ensuing months, before and after selecting KBK for our project, Cary was totally engaged and was very responsive and timely to our inquiries. He came out several times to ensure that all measurements were correct and to discuss any changes to our plan, each time providing an updated estimate. After we had locked in KBK, my wife and I met with Jose, the owner, and Cary to review the overall scope of the project and to select plantings. Jose's extensive knowledge of different plants was very helpful to ensure we had the right ones for our space. Because of COVID-19 and the state's mandated shutdown, our project was finally able to break ground in mid-June. KBK's crew was exceptional. The crew of 3 were personable, polite and friendly and worked tirelessly for two weeks. They were on site every day and never got side tracked by another job. The crew did an excellent cleaning up and leaving things in a tidy manner before leaving for the day. Jose was present on most days, working alongside this guys and ensuring the work was executed to plan. Cary also came by on occasion to ensure our satisfaction with the designs execution. Overall, my wife and I are completely satisfied with both the hardscape and landscape work. Every step of the work was done with care and never was rushed nor were corners cut. Our backyard has been transformed from an over grown wasteland into a functional and very inviting space which we plan to enjoy for many years (see before and after pictures). "First of all, the office was very courteous about explaining what we should and shouldn't do leading up to the day our driveway would be asphalted.  Then they were able to move up our appointment (our request) due to a cancellation.  They were so accommodating.  <br /> <blockquote> <blockquote> <br /> The crew arrived promptly the morning they were supposed to.  Josh, the foreman, walked the driveway with me to explain exactly what they were going to do.  The prep work --- edging, getting the weeds out of the cracks, blowing, etc --- was amazing.  They weren't rushing the job even though the weather was humid and expected to get into the 90's.  I was gardening in the backyard while they were prepping the driveway.  Josh saw that I was struggling with the weight of a full wheelbarrow and came over to help me get it over a curb. <br /> Once the prep work was done, they filled around 400' of cracks and then topcoated the entire driveway.  I went with this company because they explained that the materials they would use are the best.  I believe it because the job looks so professional.  It dried pretty fast too and was told this was due to a process called Nano Cure Technology.  They gave me paperwork that explained all this when they quoted the job.  <br /> 48 hours later, the driveway is ready to use again and looks SUPER!  I had confidence they would do the job right and they certainly did!  <br /> Thank you, Tuff Coat Sealcoating (Erodi.com).  <br /> </blockquote> </blockquote> <br />"

"This is the second time I have had this company fix my outdoor lighting. The first time I had been told I needed to replace the entire lighting system and it would cost around $10,000. Schuman came out and repaired everything for less than $300. This time, two years later they came back out and helped me repair lighting and replace bulbs that were damaged from the horrible winter we just had. "We got an estimate for landscape lighting from three different companies before making our choice.  Wilcox was one that gave us an estimate.  They were on time and courteous.  They quoted our lighting and left us with different lighting choices to pick from. <br />   <br /> We found them a bit matter of fact about the job though.  Probably best described by our asking a question and their rep saying -"Yeah, we can do that" or "sure, that might look nice".  I guess we were looking for a bit more artistic flair.  After all landscape lighting is not a need - it is a true luxury and all about the effect when complete.  Maybe we expected too much - but we were looking for someone who had some ideas and was not looking to just do what we thought would look good.  We were looking for their expertise and ideas too. <br /> I have no doubt that they would have gotten the job done, but ultimately we found a company that showed not only artistic flair but also had a passion for the service they provided.  <br /> <br />"
