"<p>I contacted David Gedminias by telephone and he gave me a tentative bid from just my description of the work.  I emailed photos of the two pieces to him and he promptly responded with a firm bid which matched his original verbal estimate.  He was my first of four bids.  I was familiar with the quality of David?s work because my parents had used him about 12 years ago on an insurance restoration claim, so I really wanted to go with him, but since both my rocker and chair also needed re-upholstry work in addition to stripping, re-gluing and refinishing I got bids from other Angie?s list providers that did all those services in house.  In the end, I chose to go with David because he linked me up with a fellow that he recommend that did upholstery and I couldn?t be any happier!  My costs for both services were just a bit more than ½ the cost of the other refinisher/upholstery shops bids and I have gotten nothing but compliments on the quality of both the refinishing & upholstery jobs. </p> <p>David is a delightful fellow and makes sure that he has done everything to make you a satisfied customer!  I would recommend him without reservation.   </p> <br />"

"Trends Kitchen & Bathroom Specialists did an excellent job with our kitchen remodel. Damon and his crews were punctual, professional and personable. Greg and Brandi were superb at reworking our electrical system and installing our cabinets and hardware. Chris did an excellent job with our plumbing needs. And Gus and Tony did a wonderful job installing the backsplash. It was a pleasure having each of them in our home during the project. Damon did a great job keeping things flowing and following up on details. He also worked particularly well with the countertop company which resulted in a smooth work flow throughout the duration of the project. All in all, we are very happy with the results!"

"We had had McGuire Cabinet Fronts reface our honey oak kitchen cabinets with white laminate and new doors/drawers in 2009. We were extremely pleased with the price, workmanship, and transformation of our 1930s-era kitchen. Recently, I chipped a piece of the white laminate on the cabinet face. I called Steve, fully intending to pay for his work. Steve promptly returned my call, scheduled an appointment for two days later, and came out personally to make the repair. He called before the appointment time to let me know he'd be a few minutes late. He not only made the repair but also checked the adhesive on the entire job and touched up a nick in one of the drawers (again, my fault). We had been very pleased with the original job; I was even more pleased with Steve's follow-up. And to top it all off, he refused payment. He said he's always done service calls for free. I recommend Steve McGuire to all my friends."

"MKand B brought in Cabinet ReStyling and Custom Painted Furniture to do the cabinet refinishing on our kitchen remodel. They were actually the 2nd cabinet finishing subcontractor that we met with. Brenda looked at our granite and back splash samples and suggested a paint color that was spot on correct. Her advice was a welcome "freebie" and generated goodwill. We're very happy with the color. The cabinet work began in mid October. They removed the doors and drawers and took them with them to remove the old hardware, clean them, and glaze them. They came back and spent three days doing the frames and sides of the cabinets. Two days later they returned and rehung the doors with the new hardware and put the drawers back in. The final day nearly ended on its head when we opened the boxes and found that we were shipped the wrong color hardware. Cabinet ReStyling and Custom Painted Furniture got on the phone to coordinate with MKand B and jumped in their car to go pick up the correct hardware to finish the job on time."

"Steve was always prompt and kept us informed of scheduling. First project was removing outdated window trim on 10 double windows and staining and installing new trim. He also removed 4 closet doors and stained and installed new ones. All was done to our satisfaction. He cleaned up afterwards daily and his workmanship is very good. <br /> Second project was to remove tile and base from master bathroom shower and update it. He used a tile/flooring company that was very easy to work with and did great work. We also have a new custom shower door that is good quality. All in all we were pleased with the results. <br />"

"I contacted Skip about building our bathroom cabinets after contacting other cabinet shops who charged much more and used lower quality materials. We wanted to recreate a medicine cabinet that would have originally been in the house and Skip did a great job with it. He also built a vanity that maximizes the small space we have available, and a hamper that looks like a chest and has extra storage space as well. We appreciate that Skip was very eager to see that we were 100% satisfied with the final product. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for custom cabinetry."
