"I contacted Skip about building our bathroom cabinets after contacting other cabinet shops who charged much more and used lower quality materials. We wanted to recreate a medicine cabinet that would have originally been in the house and Skip did a great job with it. He also built a vanity that maximizes the small space we have available, and a hamper that looks like a chest and has extra storage space as well. "He was very courteous and prompt. He handled himself in a very professional manner. His team, too, was very courteous. His carpentry skills are excellent in some very basic ways. He made me a beautiful bookcase at the end of my peninsula. I could not be more pleased. However, he was not able to perform all the he said he could. In my estimate he was to build a pull out shelf to hold my cookie sheets and other larger bakery pans. he could not build it. Also, in the estimate he was to remove my wall oven, build shelves in the opening and build doors to cover the opening. After he removed the oven he did tried to talked me out of the shelves - which honestly the storage from these shelves were key in the entire remodel. He did however, complete them. Shelves are nice, but when he finished the doors had a gap. In the estimate he was to use decorative glass, he however, used plan, very thin glass. I immediately re-positioned the hinges to eliminate the gap and replaced the glass with the glass he could not find."

"We don’t know who they contract to but they did a good job. We bought a Pella sliding door and they did a really good job. It is working very well. We had the original door and it was slow and hard to close and open and this one has been extremely well made and functioning well. We would use them again in the future."

"This is the 4th time we have used Twin Oaks. The owner, Jeff Bulcock, is exceptional in every regard. Our first experience was when he built my husband's workshop - complete with mud sink, bath, extensive electricity, an approximate size of a large 2 car garage with a front porch and a number of windows; 2 doors, one a garage door for easy access of large equipment. The kitchen remodel was our last project, although we are planning to contract with them for an outdoor room - with fireplace and rock structure to match the house.
