"I needed a 3.5' x 3.5' concrete pad poured for a elevator AC condenser installation and I needed it done very quickly based on my tight installation schedule. Alfredo of Bravos Advanced Flatwork was extremely responsive and communicative- he responded to my bid request within an hour, worked with me that day on some unique design specifications, including a late change I needed to make to the size later in the day AND he completed the job the very next morning. Alfredo was a good communicator and very punctual, even letting me know when he had a very minor arrival delay. Most importantly, Alfredo's work was excellent quality. "The prior concrete contractor had installed sidewalks and steps without a proper foundation with the result that they were sliding towards the neighbor’s property which was lower and creating a gap between the concrete work and the foundation (water seepage risk). We were also concerned about our stucco and had a stucco contractor look at our home. Fortunately, they indicated that everything was OK, and no work was required. I appreciated their integrity and asked if they could refer us to a high integrity concrete contractor figuring that good contractors know good contractors. They recommended Crosstown. We got a couple of quotes and Crosstown was the lowest, but not by much. In our discussions I was impressed with Greg Pietig’s knowledge and customer service orientation with the result that we selected Crosstown. I wasn’t disappointed. The crew needed to have access to our neighbor’s yard since the work was right along the property line. They were able to cooperatively and effectively work with our neighbor for access and fulfilled all their commitments and properly handled cleanup. The crew was courteous and efficient. Greg was highly responsive to questions during the installation. Since the steps needed a railing, Greg referred us to an ornamental ironworks firm that supplied and installed it. I have no reservations in recommending Crosstown."

"The completed driveway is fabulous! Every step of the driveway installation had an experienced and knowledgeable team of workers with a designated team lead who was also very knowledgeable, regarding the entire project. They were always on schedule, and communicated any variation in the schedule, if weather caused delay. The attitude of ALL the workers was kind, respectful and friendly. We had some minor problems that were dealt with and corrected promptly, with the same kind and respectful attitude. In general they are a company that clearly strives to be a service oriented company, having the highest quality product for a competitive price, and committed to customers being 100% satisfied and happy with the project results. "Added a parking pad alongside my driveway to allow for offstreet parking for all our cars during the winter. also widened the driveway to eliminate tight curve of existing driveway and eliminate accidental driving on lawn. Aurora Asphalt met with me, heard my problem, and offered an excellent solution. Upon completion the new driveway matches very well and looks as if it was all part of the original installation."

Said concrete would pour at 630 am and the team starting showing up before 6 am to greet the concrete trucks that did arrive at 630 am. Leveling , brushing and special stamping completed before the heat of the summer day. Job site left clean as well as washing down the street to assure a clean looking neighborhood. Have watched similar neighborhood contractors and they set the standard for meeting expectations. Book your job early as their schedule gets full."

"I had a sidewalk and partial driveway installation done. The job estimator John Monaghan was excellent and explained all work that would be done. The concrete work was very nice and done on time, time will tell if the quality lasts.. The driveway portion abutted some existing concrete pavers that need to be removed for the concrete pour and then replaced. The work done on this portion was poor, some pavers needed to be cut and were not cut straight with large uneven gaps. I am not a professional but I will do a much better job replacing them. Also the crew did not bring any base material for this portion and I provided them with leveling sand I had. Details matter."
