"The prior concrete contractor had installed sidewalks and steps without a proper foundation with the result that they were sliding towards the neighbor’s property which was lower and creating a gap between the concrete work and the foundation (water seepage risk). We were also concerned about our stucco and had a stucco contractor look at our home. Fortunately, they indicated that everything was OK, and no work was required. I appreciated their integrity and asked if they could refer us to a high integrity concrete contractor figuring that good contractors know good contractors. They recommended Crosstown. We got a couple of quotes and Crosstown was the lowest, but not by much. In our discussions I was impressed with Greg Pietig’s knowledge and customer service orientation with the result that we selected Crosstown. I wasn’t disappointed. The crew needed to have access to our neighbor’s yard since the work was right along the property line. They were able to cooperatively and effectively work with our neighbor for access and fulfilled all their commitments and properly handled cleanup. The crew was courteous and efficient. Greg was highly responsive to questions during the installation. Since the steps needed a railing, Greg referred us to an ornamental ironworks firm that supplied and installed it. I have no reservations in recommending Crosstown."

Every step of the driveway installation had an experienced and knowledgeable team of workers with a designated team lead who was also very knowledgeable, regarding the entire project. They were always on schedule, and communicated any variation in the schedule, if weather caused delay. The attitude of ALL the workers was kind, respectful and friendly. We had some minor problems that were dealt with and corrected promptly, with the same kind and respectful attitude. In general they are a company that clearly strives to be a service oriented company, having the highest quality product for a competitive price, and committed to customers being 100% satisfied and happy with the project results. "Great communications and meeting timing expectations. Positive vibe in watching this team at work. They know what to do , have the experience and just do it efficiently. Said concrete would pour at 630 am and the team starting showing up before 6 am to greet the concrete trucks that did arrive at 630 am. Leveling , brushing and special stamping completed before the heat of the summer day. Job site left clean as well as washing down the street to assure a clean looking neighborhood. Have watched similar neighborhood contractors and they set the standard for meeting expectations. Book your job early as their schedule gets full."

"My job was actually to have a stamped concrete patio installed. Overall, they did an awesome job! They were able to complete the job about a week prior to what they'd estimated, they arrived when they said they would, and completed the job within the time they said. They were very careful about placing plastic on the driveway and took care in ensuring they did as a little invasion to the area as possible. "I hired MD Concrete to replace my garage floor because of extreme pooling in the garage (with a floor trench). They also put in a driveway apron and a pad outside the garage that I store my trailer on. I expect when I hire contractors to have them cut corners and provide estimates for every little change. Matt was different and did things without adding extra cost when things were not as planned. I installed the trench drain myself and after they got the old floor out he left the tools and parts I would need to install the trench before they pored the concrete and walked me through what I would need to do in order to have the best install. This is the first spring when my garage is dry since we moved in."
