"Steve Schultze did a great job. He explained what he would do, and then over 3 separate, short trips, he did exactly what he had said he would. The ceiling looks like new, and the crack has been fixed very well. He was personable, friendly and on time."

Customers say: True professional

"We’ve always been able to do our own painting projects. As we’ve gotten older we’ve decided that we need “a guy” for that. Todd is now our guy. He was able to complete our project in less than a day that would have taken us much longer to complete. Prep, painted and clean up. We would definitely recommend Todd for your painting projects."

"I needed painting, staining, shiplap/siding installed inside my office where I had a new patio door installed, and the ceiling beneath it in the kitchen redone/replastered and repainted due to long-term water damage. Rafael was very professional, innovative, precise and clean! I am very happy that he completed both projects at the same time and done so well!"

"We had a difficult ceiling project that many painters wouldn't take on. We had water stains. We had holes in the ceiling because of a change in the overhead lighting that would require drywall repair. In addition we had a popcorn ceiling that some painters don't care to deal with. All stains were addressed, the drywall repair was done, and a fresh coat of texture and paint were put on the ceiling. It looks like new!!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Rosemount, MN

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
