"I’ll start by straight out saying that I have to give Eric and his team the absolute highest recommendation. Eric and his team are the best we have ever worked with. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Eric S Perry Design and Build. We own a Chapel Hill home that was built in 1970. It was neglected by the previous owner and after 46 years, it needs a lot of work. Last year, we started working with Eric and his team, and after a few months we have finished a very large, complete gut and remodel of our kitchen, living, and dining room. All the rooms are now part of a new open space in the redesigned floorplan. Our awful, enclosed 1970s kitchen was replaced with an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING new contemporary, modern, open floorplan kitchen. We also did a complete renovation of a guest bathroom. The horrid 1970s green tile, green tub, green sink and matching green toilet (yes...green toilet) were completely gutted and replaced with beautiful new finishes and a large, open, glass standup shower. During our initial consultation and planning meetings, Eric and Violet (Eric’s wife and designer) listened what we wanted and Violet helped come up with a great design, plan and budget. They are so easy and a pleasure to work with. You quickly find out that they are really looking out for you. It is so refreshing to have someone keeping an eye out on your budget without compromising on quality or cutting corners. Eric’s attention to detail and quality is commendable. He is a true professional. He is hardworking, highly skilled and has an amazing team. The craftsmanship by Eric and Shannon (Eric’s right-hand man) is unmatched by anyone. Between Eric’s expert woodworking skills, Shannon’s beautiful work on tile and the rest of his team, everything was taken care of. Eric ensures that all of his team completes the work up to his standards. Everyone on the team is very professional and friendly. Communication was also excellent. He was onsite at my house EVERYDAY to meet with me and discuss the status. He will keep you informed of what is coming up and when homeowner decisions need to be made by you. When I was out of town or not available, Eric kept me informed with photos and texts. ESP is Grade A on Angieslist and completely worth it. You HAVE to give Eric a call to at least have a consultation with him before deciding on anyone. Our 1970s home needs a LOT of love and we will be giving him a call again. We are so glad that it is a no brainer to call ESP for our next project."

"The CC design consultant was on time for our initial meeting and was very knowledgeable about the product. She took some measurements and documented some design input from us and then supplied us with a preliminary design recommendation (via email which was nice) within a couple of days. The 3D rendering of the design recommendation that she produced was particularly useful for facilitating our conversation around the design. You could actually see what it would look like inside the closet space as we made changes to the design so that you could assess the overall impact of those changes before committing to the purchase. Some of the other closet system providers we talked to did not have this 3D rendering technology available to them so this was a plus for CC. The price point for the closet solution was very competitive with quotes we received from other potential service providers but we benefitted from a promotion CC was running at the time that basically gave us the textured wood finish closet material for the cost of the smooth finish material. The installer showed up on-time for the scheduled installation which was 3 weeks from the time of contracting CC to do the work. He performed the installation work as expected per the specs he was given for the installation job. There was one challenge that arose with the installation of the closet that was the result of a simple (but accidental) communication oversight between the design consultant and the installer. Once this was realized, the actual owner of the CC business came by our house the very next morning to assess the situation and to explain what he was going to do to correct the issue. The very next day, he had all the right people working on correcting the problem and within a matter of a few hours, the problem was not only corrected but he also made a few additional improvements to our closet system at his expense to ensure that we were going to be 100% satisfied with their product and their work. It is important to note that I have met some very customer satisfaction centric service providers in my life but this guy redefined it and reset the bar for it. All I can say is that he was INCREDIBLE!. As a result, I am now a customer for life with these folks and I can state without hesitation that they stand behind their product and their work until the customer is 100% satisfied. I would strongly recommend CC to anyone who is in need of a new closet system as it is very rare these days to come across a service provider with this level of commitment to customer service and satisfaction. <br />"

"SunnyDale was very responsive to my initial request for service, and answered all my questions very quickly. The very friendly team showed up on the dot at the time I was given, which is very impressive. They took great care to not damage walls as they were hauling ladders through my home, laid protective covering over my furniture and cleaned up all debris when the job was completed. The fan works perfectly, and doesn't wobble. I discovered a few days later that my remote was also operating my next door neighbors fan (I'm in a condo), and SunnyDale returned within two days to reset the codes. A great company!! I will definitely use them again."

"Unfortunately I live about 11 hours away from the house that required the work, and was unable to make any of the repairs myself.  I turned to Angie's list to help find a reputable handyman to help out.  Since I couldn't be around to look at the work myself, I wanted someone I could trust.  Hargrove's had a great reputation, and quickly returned my calls.  As Mr Hargrove went through the house, I spoke with him on the phone, and we agreed on what needed done.  Mr Hargrove pointed out several things others hadn't noticed, so I asked him to fix those problems as well. <br /> Mr Hargrove was also very helpful in that he started work immediately, while my check was still in the mail.  I was kept well-informed of the repairs that were being made.  The only thing that got missed was some photos of the work; we talked about getting me some pictures, but I never got any  The work was completed in a timely manner. <br /> Not being able to inspect the repairs myself, I asked the realtor to give me his opinion on the repairs.  He said most of the repairs looked good.  His main reservation was the carpet that was replaced; he stated that it didn't match the carpet that was already in the house very well, and that the whole room should have been replaced, as opposed to a patch.  This is 3rd party information, and in fact I've never met the realtor in person either. <br /> So, regrettably this review is not of great value to someone looking for the specifics of the work done by Hargrove's.  Since I haven't seen the work myself, I can't personally vouch for it being great or mediocre.  However, I can offer specifics on interaction with Hargrove's.  I do trust Hargrove's, the communication was good, and I would use them again if the need arises. <br /> I gave B-ratings for experience, price, and quality only because of the 3rd party review of the work.  I would have liked to give A-ratings, but without being able to see before/after pictures, I felt uncomfortable with that.  I'm certain this situation is not the norm for Hargrove's, where someone is trying to direct their efforts from many miles away.  And admittedly it is not the simplest situation to deal with. <br />"
