"We had lost two large oak trees on our property and had five other mature oak trees with large "widow makers" high up. The dead trees would be felled, but no stump grinding was required. Four Angie's List tree services and 1 non-Angie's List service were contacted for quotes. All but one made an appointment to come out to our home, evaluate the task, and provide a quote. We selected Gordon Frazier Tree Service for our job. Gordon responded promptly and came out within a few days to give us a quote. We found Gordon to be very professional, easy to work with, and made good suggestions that helped to lower the cost of the job, which was a very competitive one. We liked that Mr. Frazier would be on-site and oversee the agreed upon work the entire time. Our dead trees and several of the trees with dead limbs were near our buried septic tank and sewer lines running to the septic field. Other tree services were still interested in using large bucket trucks as much as possible, while avoiding these areas. But Gordon Frazier eased our concerns by not using any heavy bucket trucks. Instead each tree was climbed by an individual using ropes who would remove limbs and trunk in pieces, tying the larger pieces to ropes so they could be gently lowered to the ground. The job was completed in one day. Overall they did an excellent job and we are very happy with their work. They arrived at the appointed time, performed all the agreed upon work as quoted, removed limbs and branches by chipping them, and cleaned up afterwards. We definitely would hire them again, and recommend them to everyone."

"Working with this company was fantastic! They handled our first-time tree removal project with remarkable ease and made the entire experience pleasant. The team was professional and efficient throughout the process. We were thoroughly impressed with their attention to detail, such as making sure they can remove the tree roots without damaging utility lines. We highly recommend their services to anyone needing tree removal."

"Virginia Tree & Landscapes was recommended to us by our concrete contractor. In preparation of expanding our driveway, we needed four trees removed, as well as some additional stumps and roots. Anthony provided a timely in-person estimate and was able to perform the job just a few days later, keeping us on timeline for our concrete job. Anthony and his team did a great job at a fair price. They were professional, courteous, and left our property clean. Highly recommend and will definitely call Anthony next time we need tree trimming/removal."

"Tony came by the morning he called, quoted me a price way below the other estimates, and was back with his team in a couple of hours. The trees were gone quick and the area cleared. I cannot be more happy with the fast and professional service."

"The work ethic and expertise of the men who did the work for us exceeded our expectations. The trees that were trimmed look so much better. The trees that needed to be cut down were done with incredible precision. In addition, the men cut the trunks into sections and then stacked the sections so we could split them later for firewood. All the debris was perfectly cleaned up. The price was very reasonable for all the work that was done."

"Exceptional Service, Fair Pricing & Bonus Cleanup from Ward’s Tree Service Ward’s Tree Service recently removed two enormous trees from my small, fenced backyard, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Their team was punctual, professional, and clearly experienced — handling a complex job with speed, precision, and care. Jason was responsive and communicative throughout, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The crew was pleasant, respectful, and left the space spotless. Not only did they go above and beyond what we originally discussed, but they also took care of all my fall yard cleanup while they were there — a thoughtful touch that truly set them apart. They were also the most fairly priced of all the quotes I received. No hidden fees, no upselling — just honest, high-quality work at a great value. Ward’s Tree Service combines expertise, efficiency, and integrity. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable tree removal and yard care done right."

"Wonderfully, very experienced crew worked well together. We plan to hire again"

"Great! Have hired him twice."

"I am a building contractor and have hired Carvers tree service many times to take down large trees, trim trees, and take out dead limbs."

"Weather delayed the first scheduled date, but showed up promptly on the next good weather working day. The staff was extremely polite and accomodating. They wanted to make sure we were happy before they left. Did a good job (not great) cleaning up after themselves."
