"I needed to have 20 feet of walkway removed that had been damaged by tree roots. Mark came to my home and explained to me in detail how the old cement would be removed and the details of pouring new concrete that included finishing with exposed aggregate that would match as close to possible to the exposed aggregate that was remaining. The bid for the work came in below two other bids I had received. Mark followed up promptly with a date for the work. The crew arrived on time, removed the old cement and three large roots underneath and hauled it all away, then laid the framework and installed rebar. Within minutes, the cement truck arrived and it was poured. One of the crew remained for the next three hours to finish the exposed aggregate portion of the job. The complete project took around five hours. I am completely satisfied with the finished work. From start to finish all of the contact I had with Mark and the crew was professional, courteous, and friendly. I will definitely contact California Exteriors for any work I will need in the future and will not hesitate to refer my friends and colleagues to hem for similar work."

"The stepped brick walkway in the front of my house was in disrepair and in need of replacement. I sent Tom photos of the area with measurements and he gave two quotes remotely, one to put stepped concrete in its place and one to extend the driveway without steps. Ultimately, I opted to extend the driveway for the extra space. On the day of the installation Tom and his crew arrived on time, quickly removed the brick walkway and set the new concrete with new concrete box and lid for the sewer valve. He also advised that I replace a portion of the bottom of the driveway adjacent to the project area because it had lifted over time and would be a tripping hazard. Overall the project went smoothly and was priced more reasonably than two other estimates I got."

And after it had dried, Ron returned and sealed it (CLS was also the company who poured the replacement aggregate driveway). <br /> If you need to blend with neighborhood driveways that are aggregate and older, we strongly recommend doing the following: <br /> Have sealing included as part of the contract with the understanding that final payment, covering the cost of sealing, will be <br /> withheld until that has been completed (sealing cannot be done in cool or rainy weather, so it?s pretty much limited to summer). Nailing down the time for the sealing might be a bit difficult, but CLS aims to please.  <br /> We previously gave CLS As on the driveway itself. His men worked very hard to make it look good.
