"Keven and crew came as scheduled and took up carpet, padding and the strips around the edges. I knew there was a lively oak flooring under it that had never been exposed so I decided it was time they did a phenomenal job and you really don’t see any places where the stripping was. I am SOOOO very happy with their workmanship."

"Needed window sill removed and new one installed. The quote was great and the work wondeful. Looks like the original window sill. Everything was left clean and tidy. Very professional. And I am waiting for a quote for another job because of this great experience. Would highly recommend Clukey Construction."

"Great service !!!!! Job well done !!!!!! Great Company !!!!!!!"

"I can't say enough good things about this builder. He did a complete rehab on a home I had the pleasure of renting. He completely transformed it into a beautiful, comfortable and well thought out place to live. The quality of the rehab really stood out. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing things the right way, not just making a house look good on the surface. The custom trim, tile work and hardwood floors were especially impressive and added a unique, high quality touch throughout the home. Everything was, clean, updated and finished with great attention to detail. As a landlord and builder, he was also great to work with, professional, responsive and respectful. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who takes pride in his work and delivers excellent craftsmanship."

"I have done a lot of home renovation projects in the past, and I wish ALL contractors were like Mike. From start to finish of this ENORMOUS project, Mike was amazing to work with. He showed up when he said he was going to show up, he responded promptly to emails and texts, and he remembered all of the little details that we discussed along the way. His estimate was accurate and included all of the components that we talked about, and then we made some adjustments to the original estimate, which were also perfectly captured. And on top of all that, his quote/estimate was one of the most reasonable ones that we received (and we got 6 quotes). He was so knowledgeable with the information and advice that he provided, and I had complete trust that he would do a superb job. We had to move out of the house while the work was ongoing. He kept in touch the entire time, providing updates regularly. I never doubted that things were going well and according to plan. He had a team of two additional guys and they were also very pleasant and very hard working. And the work that was done was unbelievable quality. It looks so beautiful - a complete transformation of the home! In addition to the flooring, we paid Mike to install new 6 inch baseboards, which was a great addition. I would recommend Mike and Universal Flooring to anyone who is considering new hardwood floors or any flooring work for that matter. We will certainly use him again in the future if ever needed. THANK YOU MIKE!!!"
