"They were responsive to my inquiry. Kept me updated on when they would do the work. Job looks good, they did what they thought was necessary to fix it and the price was reasonable."

Today’s homeowners are “building green” by choosing products that make their homes energy-efficient, healthier to live in, and better for the environment.\nSmart choices today are leading the way for a brighter tomorrow….\nOur commitment to sustainability starts with energy-saving and durable products. We manufacture building materials that save energy, reduce reliance on fossil fuels and decrease greenhouse gas emissions around the world.\n\nOverall, our energy saving products make a significant net positive impact on the environment, especially in terms of energy conservation and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. As one example, fiberglass insulation saves 12 times the energy used to produce it — in its first year installed alone. Further, our insulation products continue to help conserve energy year after year without consuming any additional resources.\n\nBe sure to read about our continuing commitment to innovation and greening our products to add value for our customers while meeting the needs of the green marketplace.

"Doran roofing did a complete asphalt (I know, asphalt shingles no longer exist but you get the idea); looked pretty good, at first glance. I was working out of town and unable to supervise the work. Bad mistake. . . Apparently Jim Doran did not supervise his crew either. Estimate he provided ($26k) included water/ice shield over all of the shallow slopes of the roof (much of the house). What I got appears to be standard/premium underlayment. As a result, I now have leaks down the side of the house whenever it snows. How bad they are depends on how bad the snow and the resulting ice dams are. Called him and actually managed to get him out to house a couple of times; he provided great lip service but little else. One of his comments involved trying to "mansplain" ice dams to me (actually on more than one of his visits). So now I'm looking at an upcoming winter for the third year (which will likely include snow) with a roof that is unprepared for snow and a roofer that does not stand behind his work."
