"I called Cooley Drywall on approximately 9/10/12 to ask for an estimate for ceiling texture repairs. I let him know that we were on a short timeline, and that we needed to have the work done as soon as possible. He came to do an estimate within a couple of days. He seemed very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We received an estimate immediately.
We ended up hiring another company because the estimate we received was significantly less than the one from Cooley. We would consider hiring Cooley in the future, provided price was something we felt was reasonable.

"Between myself and my family we have worked with Nathan Kraus for years! They have provided custom home renovations, composite decks, repairs and installations on both our homes and business. The workmanship and craftsmanship are second to none. I would feel comfortable trusting them with any home projects as the work theyâ ve done for us in the past has been exceptional. Perhaps the only downfall, is they are so busy there is sometimes a wait for them to begin your project! Trust me itâ s well worth the wait to know that your project has been well done!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Ryan, IA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
