"I have an old house in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx, built in 1910. I’ve had at least 3 electricians work on it, but I’ve used only Ken exclusively since I first contacted him in February 2019. Since then he’s done some simple things like replace old power outlets and light fixtures, but also some more complicated projects like installing a 220 power outlet for a stove in our basement. Most recently he installed an electric car charger in my garage, definitely a non-trivial project, especially given how old our house is. Ken is very professional, dependable, and extremely competent. His prices are reasonable and I trust his instincts, especially regarding safety which is critical for an electrician. He provides valuable suggestions at the start of a project which often save me money. He’s also a great guy and a joy to work with. I hope he never retires."

"I highly recommend Ossie Electric. Dealing with him was a pleasure. His work is excellent and he completed it quickly. I contacted Ossie, based on a positive review I saw on FaceBook, when my general contractor was slow in upgrading my electrical panel as part of a larger home renovation project. The day I contacted him, Ossie came to discuss the work I needed done. He quickly gave me a price quote with a well-written statement of work. He completed all the work quickly including interacting with Con Edison regarding the electrical upgrade. He even found another contractor to dig a trench so we could bury our electrical service, which had previously been overhead. (The existing service entrance was not sufficiently high above the ground to meet current code.) Ossie completed a LOT of work at our home, including: 1) upgrading our mean breaker panel from 100 Amps to 200 Amps, 2) installing a 100 Amp sub-panel in our basement, 3) replacing the overhead service feed to our house with underground service, 4) installing a 30 Amp inlet and interlock switch for a portable generator, and 5) installing three electrical outlets on our deck."

John spent an hour and a half checking all outlets in the house as well as the breaker box outside on the side of the house. I immediately gave Johns contact info to a good fried 4 blocks away. "We hired Conte to install wiring and overhead light/fan fixtures for 3 bedrooms, and to install wiring and lighting for a large attic. We first got an appraisal, and the office staff had already tentatively scheduled a work date, which worked out well. I was at work during the process, but the crew of 2 electricians were able to let themselves in and perform the work. I came later to check it out and they did a terrific job. Frankly, if I didn't know I hired them, I would have never known they were there. Perfect work, everything cleaned up, and now we can see in the attic. They installed an illuminated switch in the hallway below attic so that we can turn on the lights from below and see (via the illuminated switch) if the lights are on or off. Definitely would hire them again."
