"We contracted with East End, Alberto, to a deep cleaning of our parent's home. Only the downstairs and the master bedroom and two upstairs bathrooms. They were to send 3 people for the day, but only sent 2. They worked for about 6 hours, but the one person who went upstairs pretty much did nothing. I didn't check her work before she left unfortunately, but my wife did when she came home. The upstairs bedroom was not cleaned or dusted at all (see pictures) and the hall bathroom was not done (toilet filthy). Additionally, upon inspection, we found that most surfaces were not dusted at all, like the dining room table, the foyer table, the living room tables, the den coffee table and side tables. Plus the foyer floor was still very dirty all along the edges. When we noticed this I called Alberto the next morning and he admitted that the younger of the two women was new and she didn't do as good a job as she should have. She was the one upstairs. He agreed to come back at 4pm on Sunday with 3 people to spend 3 hours cleaning. I waited at my parent's home for hours, only for him to later say they can't make it. He rescheduled for Tuesday at 4pm and kept saying he'll have a "great crew of 6 people come and do a great job." I called him Tuesday morning to confirm, which Albert did. He knew my father was coming home from the hospital and we needed the work completed before he got home. I called and texted with him all afternoon Tuesday, leaving voicemails. By 4:27pm he replied to my text stating "Hello Adam, we are not finished yet we need another 3 hours on current job." I expressed my frustration with that information and the lack of notice, since I was waiting at my parents house already since 3pm. I asked when he expect to arrive. He did not reply. I waited anyway for the 3 more hours hoping he would show as promised. By 8:05pm, I tried calling and left a voicemail and texted. No response. On Wednesday morning at 6:30am I texted him that I was disappointed in his team's work and included many pictures showing the dirt and rooms they missed. At that point I reached out to Angi for restitution. I not need to hire another cleaning service to finish the job, and do so while my father is home recovering from his stay in the hospital."
