He called me when he was at the house to let me know how things were going and tell me if there were any problems with the gutters (there were not). "Sam Schemmer, whose dad started the family-owned company in 1978, provided me with an estimate for the job.  Sam is pleasant, comfortable to consult with in the home...an all around nice person.  He took careful notes of each aspect and detail of the job.  I thought the proposal was reasonable.  He scheduled the cleaning job on the date that I wanted the following week. <br /> <br /> When I called the next week to tell them I'd been sick and unable to prep the house for the cleaning job, they quickly offered to reschedule.  <br /> <br /> On the date of service, I left a key for the crew as prearranged, due to my being at work.  I have no reason to think that they did not arrive at the scheduled time.  I arrived home to wonderfully clean carpets.  I noticed a couple of details that I had discussed with Sam that had not been completed.  Sam called me the following day to ask how I felt about their service; when I told him about these minor missed details, he carefully noted them for follow up with his crew and, without a request from me, offered a discounted invoice.  I really appreciated that.  It's clear that this company knows that it's best to retain customers than to troll for new ones.  If I need future cleaning, I know that I'll be a repeat customer of Schemmer's, and I would endorse them to others."

"Dan and his partner spent about three days removing the old grout, regrouting, and sealing. There was a necessary break in between steps to let the new grout dry properly before sealing. The finished work fully restored the beauty of the classic tile. Dan took great care in meticulously finishing the grouting and left the bathroom clean. We were very satisfied with his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. He was also prompt in responding to messages and was easy to schedule."
