Mark handles everything, is very expert on options, and his bid was roughly 1/2 of a larger HVAC company (who sent a salesperson to bid & who knows who would get to do the actual work). Mark took several heating ducts and re-routed them to be within the joists to prep for a remodel. Job was complicated and dirty and he and his son knocked it out in a couple days. He also fixed another contractor's mistake with our bathroom vent and brought it up code.(now I can finally close out that permit). Highly recommend!"

"We needed to increase the height of the railing on our stairwell for safety, so we had a custom iron rail made to go on top of the existing wood piece. The railing Loftus made is beautiful and exactly what we need. (Pic attached – we will be adding an additional wood top rail soon). Although we know the job was small for them and didn't expect to be in constant communication, I would say that the communication was a bit lacking. But – it did get made and installed! However, installers seemed to be hurried and caused a couple scratches in our existing wood top (which I had just refinished)."

"The four vertical posts in two custom exterior wrought iron stair railings needed to be replaced and the entire railings needed to be sand blasted and repainted. Dave is a person that does his work above expectations. The railings were carefully removed from our custom concrete stair curbs in way to minimize damage to the concrete. They were sand blasted and painted by Adrenaline Customs in White Bear Lake. Adrenaline mainly powder coats custom auto parts. So the appearance of railings after they were painted was far beyond what is obtained with the standard paint can spray. To eliminate staining from cement spatter used to reinstall the railings, the area around each post was carefully covered with cardboard cutouts and masking tape. Nice job, Dave."

"In the midst of the excessive heat warning, of course our A/C went kapoot. I called Air Flow Mechanical, since I had used them in the past for our furnace. They had a technician out in just a few hours and had us up and running in about 30 minutes. We thought it was the freon, but it was the capacitator I believe. He did check our freon and said we were just fine and that the unit itself looked very clean. In hearing of horror stories recently about HVAC companies taking advantage of consumers by charging them for freon that wasn't needed, it was reassuring that he checked it, but was very honest about it. You just can't put a price on that! I truly appreciate the honesty, integrity and quick response these guys offer, and they are very affordable. They have earned my full trust and will continue to call upon Air Flow Mechanical for all our future HVAC needs."

"Les Jones Roofing did excellent work for us. The circumstances were unusual. We hired them for a job that was beyond our abilities, but too small to interest any of the other companies we contacted: to fix a gap in our house’s fascia that could have allowed insects or rodents to nest inside. A power line connects to our house near the gap in the fascia, so Les Jones would have to coordinate with the electric company to shut off power during the repair (a “line drop”). This coordination proved difficult for many months. On several occasions, Les Jones crews showed up on the day of the scheduled line drop, but the electric company had not shut off power, making the planned repair impossible. Nevertheless, the crews continued to do useful work when they showed up, including new tasks that we tacked on. In addition to cutting and painting the wood that they planned to use to repair the fascia, Les Jones teams fixed some small holes in our roof that our home inspector had noticed, and patched up a decorative finial on our roofline that had become damaged by snow after we’d signed the contract to fix the fascia. Throughout it all, the Les Jones representatives we dealt with in person, via email, and over the phone were consistently professional and friendly, even in very frustrating situations. Finally, the electric company came through on the scheduled day with the promised line drop, the weather cooperated, and the Les Jones crew fixed the fascia. The bill we received at the end of this unusual project was reasonable and contained no surprises. On the basis of this experience, we would definitely hire Les Jones Roofing again!"

"It could not have gone better! They even worked with us because we wanted the gutters to match our trim and the downspouts to match our stucco, so they had all the supplies dropped at our house a month ago so we could specially prep and paint them before installation (our choice). Their crew was right on time, called the night before, and could not have been more professional the whole day they worked here. They even slowly looked over entire yard when they were done to be sure no screw or anything was left behind. They took away the old gutters and downspouts. The new installation blends beautifully with the old and works perfectly. It is such a relief to know that I will not hear leaky gutters anymore and that the house truly looks so very nice (no more duct tape on downspout connections in back.)"
