I interviewed another contractor and decided that I wanted to hire Sam. However, my husband hadn't met him yet, so Sam made the trip back to our house to go over the job with my husband. Sam and his team did quality work and Sam communicated with me throughout the process. He was at our house, when he said he would be and kept his word from the beginning of this process. "Tom had fantastic turnaround on coming out to give us an estimate and then scheduling service.  He rearranged his schedule to accommodate our job because of the grass-growing season coming to an end.  The quote he sent was specific and itemized so that we could see what we were paying for.  Tom's crew showed up the morning they were expected and worked efficiently and professionally.  They took the time to remove old tree stumps and dead plants as well as some fence materials that were left behind by the previous owners.  Tom oversaw the work at various points throughout the day, pitched in, and checked his workers' work. He also gave me helpful advice on how to give our grass the best conditions for germination and growth as we move into next spring and offered to come back and winterize our lawn later in the season.
