"Overall, I am happy with B.O.G lawn service. The only frustration I've had to this point is that I have it documented in my profile for service to be conducted at a certain timeframe in the day. I have a dog walker come anytime between 12pm - 2pm and because the weed control may not have dried by that time I have requested my service be performed early in the morning or late afternoon. Everytime I am scheduled for service I call the office to double check where I am in the routing and everytime it is a time the may interfere when the dog walker comes over. Again - overall I'm happy with the quality of the product and how far my lawn has come since starting B.O.G but there's some room for improvement with implementing customer requests for service."

"When they did the edges, I didn’t want them to put the bricks there. I wanted them to put a trench to separate where the grass started and the flower bed. I asked them to do it because I wanted it to look more professional and not like something crazy I did that wasn’t straight. It looks very crooked like something I would have done. The front they did well. I told him and he came back out and let him off the hook. He acknowledgeable that he could have done a better job. They didn’t’ put the extensions on the down spout far enough. So now I need to re-dig and make them lower or add more top soil above. They didn’t do a professional job as I would have liked. They were supposed to spray and a couple of days later I noticed that none of the vegetation was dying. I called back and they acknowledge it and came back out. They were responsive.    I tried to use them again but they were not responsive."

"Things were going quite well until I inquired about bagging excess grass that lay on the lawn and flower beds after the job was done. I was then told that it would cost an extra $3.00 weekly to bag grass. I decided to rake up the excess instead (saving money for me). I thought the grass was being cut too low; therefore,  I then inquired about mower blade height and was told it would cost an extra $4.98 weekly to raise or lower the blade. I have been a homeowner for longer than the provider is old, have had several lawn companies attend my lawns and have never, ever, heard of such a thing....from any company.
The provider simply wrote, "If I did not charge every customer the labor to change blades or lower, or raise them I would be loosing every job. If I did not charge to bag I will be loosing with dump fees labor fees. Eventually it will add up. Please understand ." He said it would take an extra 10 minutes to adjust blades. The county waste dump is within 5 miles.
Needless to say, his services were terminated.  What started out as a $25 weekly fee would have increased to $31.92 weekly and $131.92 monthly  instead of $100 monthly per 4 weeks  had I accepted the provider's proposal.
 Mind you, clipping hedges and general lawn work was not included....just mowing. Oh, after the family mulched the flower beds, the provider's crew blew grass clippings in the beds atop the mulch. Yes, I did mention this to the provider and the blowing continued. I was simply  not satisfied. Perhaps someone else might like the additions, but not us. My neighbor, I think, uses their services and might be satisfied. I did not inquire.

"When I emailed Pro Arbor, they contacted me by phone within a few hours and scheduled their arborist, Adam, to come the next business day. Adam arrived a few minutes early, which was wonderful, and looked carefully at each of our three large trees in the front yard. He then explained the issues with each tree and made suggestions for each one for now and for the future. He arranged to do the work two days later. Adam himself showed up with the crew right on time on the service day, and he introduced me to all of the crew members. The guys worked quickly and carefully, and when they were done, they showed me exactly what they'd done to each tree and what we should think about next time they come. When the invoice came, it didn't reflect a discount I'd purchased via Angie's list, but Alice fixed the problem within hours. Their emails, telephone calls, and in-person contacts were among the most professional I've ever encountered with home-services providers. I will definitely be calling them in a few years to trim our trees again. Working with them was simply a terrific experience.

"It went okay. They arrived shortly after 9 a.m. However they did not bring the lawn mower with them. So they worked on other things until the lawnmower arrived, about one hour later. They did all that I asked them to do and they had two hours remaining when they finished."
