"Staff at the Grinnell office which took our call was very courteous and professional.  We received a call back in just under an hour asking how soon we were needing work done.  Was told they could be here that day to replace water heater, but when I told them it was not an emergency we were told they could come out at our convenience and check what was needed and they would then give us an estimate.  I asked if they could check the furnace as it was about 25 years old, and also check out what would be needed to also install central air.  I was called the following day and given price of water heater with installation and I told them to go ahead.   They were out the next day, installed the heater in short order, cleaned up after themselves.  Could not have asked for better service. <br /> I was called a few days later and told that our furnace was showing its age, but probably had a few years life left.  As we are planning on selling our house in a few years, I told them I wanted it replaced soon and also wanted to add air conditioning.  He told me he would get back to me with several options which he did a few days later.  No pressure was made to buy one system over the other.  In fact he actually recommended a less expensive air condioner and furnace since we planned on selling our house. <br /> We decided about a month later to go ahead with the furnace and a/c.  They installed it the next day while we were at work, and actually left our basement in better shape than it was before they did the work.  They also threw in a few extras at no cost.  <br /> Both our water heater and furnace are working great.  Have already seen a large reduction in energy costs.  Because ot the weather we have not yet used our a/c, but I am sure if a problem arises, Brookwood will take care of it. <br />"
