"The auto transport service provided by United Freight of America is an A+++ organization! I reserved the covered auto transport truck and boy, is that truck fancy! It has lifts that raise and lower to load your vehicle inside, to keep it clear from the elements. I needed them to transport my deceased brother's vehicle to me in Texas- that car is my heart now as my brother cherished it so! I needed a quality company- one that I could trust and most of all, rely on to get the vehicle to me in pristine condition. They did just that! And, I don't want to forget the Driver as well as he could not have been more professional. I HIGHLY recommend this auto transport company. I don't know that I have seen a classier auto transport company. Call them :-)"

"Very smoothly, They provided 3-D models for review and approval. Because of the backlog, they offered to provide temporary units, but we did not need them. Job was professionally performed in less than a day."

"Design Your Basement is an amazing service that's helping us finish our basement, so that our family can enjoy our entire house. The design process was fast and seamless. The team at Design Your Basement provides great customer service and helped us identify design opportunities that we never would have thought to include. Not long after contacting Design Your Basement, the professionals were there to measure our basement. In no time at all, they had design ready for our review, which was based on our feedback. We enjoyed our design presentation meeting and it was easy to make the changes we wanted from the initial draft design. In addition, the 3D walk-through made it easy to envision how the basement will look before anything was done. Contractors from Design Your Basement are now helping us with framing and consulting with us on DIY portions of the project. We strongly recommend Design Your Basement."

"I received an elevator kit and assembled it myself. The instructions were OUTSTANDING! Clear, concise, comprehensive. Hired someone to cut the hole in the garage attic floor and installed it myself."

"I bought my house knowing the roof would need to be replaced. After the severe storms that came though in 2016, my roof developed a bad leak. I called Ray and he and his assistant came out the next day to give me a quote. I explained what I knew about the roof, they took measurements, and we discussed the options. Knowing my money situation wasn't the best, Ray agreed to replace half the roof and do the needed repairs. There was no attempt at pressuring me into getting more work done or buying more expensive materials than necessary. He even helped me choose a shingle color and style that will compliment the cosmetic changes I am planning for next summer. The roof was finished in less than a day. The crew was fast and professional, and their cleanup was perfect. I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work."

".They showed when they said they would and cleaned everything up.  It looks good.  I think they provide their customers with thicker/stronger boards to sit on while in the shelter.  I also think the shelters should come at least 5.5 to 6 feet tall.  Most families have at least one family member or friend that is over 5 feet tall.  If we have to stay in it for a hour to several hours, we need to be able to stand up.  They were careful with the equipment and quick.  I recommend you look for any cracks in your garage around where they will be installing the shelter and driveway, so if you see any cracks once they are finished you can have them fix it.  I also recommend that you tell your neighbors that you will be having a shelter installed and ask if they can move their vehicles out of the street.  Ground Zero has a very long trailer they pull their equipment on and they need room to turn around on/in the street. <br />"

"Estimator was very responsive including changes I requested and were made after the fact. Agreements all signed in advance, including updated 're-signed' agreements after changes made. Communication between estimate, time of deposit, ordering, and scheduling of install was excellent. Project lead was on-site and resolved issues quickly during the install - including replacement parts, vents, couplers, etc. Replacement of rotted boards was done. Cleanup was excellent. Roofing materials were delivered just in time day prior and high quality materials were ordered / arrived. Lead time between estimate and install was longer than expected but I attribute that to economic issues and supply chain more than this company's willingness to do the work; they are also probably very busy given their name recognition in the area and advertising. Warranty communication was good. I hope the roof lasts but I have no reason for me to suspect / expect any issues based on what I saw. As of now, I am pleased and would use them again / recommend them. I chose them given the number of online reviews and their local name recognition. I expect others in the area are cheaper but I wasn't willing to take a chance in my situation."

FAQs for remodel to accommodate a disability projects in Saint Martinville, LA

Standard Medicare coverage often doesn't extend to home modifications, such as roll-in showers. In specific circumstances where medical necessity is clearly established, limited coverage might be available through certain Medicare programs. Many homeowners explore alternative funding sources such as home modification grants, veterans' benefits, or specialized financing programs designed for accessibility improvements. Consulting with a Medicare representative about your specific situation provides the most accurate guidance.

Roll-in showers deliver significant benefits beyond their monetary return, particularly in terms of safety, independence, and long-term accessibility. By eliminating barriers to bathing, these installations help prevent falls while accommodating mobility devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Their open design creates a contemporary appearance that appeals to many homebuyers. For households planning to age in place or accommodate family members with mobility challenges, the functional advantages often outweigh pure financial considerations.

A standard roll-in shower installation takes two to four days. Projects requiring extensive renovation or plumbing changes may take longer, potentially extending to several weeks or months. Factors affecting the timeline include existing bathroom configuration, permit processing times, contractor availability, and material delivery schedules. Creating proper drainage slopes often requires additional preparation time compared to traditional shower installations, particularly when modifying existing floor structures.
