"4pm on a Friday and I smell burning electric wires. Could not touch door on electric panel as it was red hot. Finally opened the door and could see wires glowing. <br /> Did a local search for emergency electrician and found one close by however they turned out to be worthless. After calling several times and hearing service tech would call me, well, after 2 hrs of this I gave up and searched again and found SOS Electric. Called them and spoke to Scott. Explained the situation and he assured me his tech would be out within the hour. Sure enough his guy shows up about 50 minutes later. We review the problem which requires a replacement of the electrical panel due to what the tech sees as apparent lightening strike that fried the panel. He turned off all the breakers so I could get thru the night without a fire hazard problem. <br /> He returns the next morning to do the work and all goes well. Nice to find a service company that does what they say they will do and within the timeframe and cost they estimate. <br />"
