"Replacing a roof and gutters is a major project and finding the right roofing company was very important to me. I met with a number of different companies and finally decided on CHI (Craftsman Home Improvement). They didn’t just come look at the roof and send me a proposal instead they came looked at the roof and spent over an hour with me explaining the process working with me on how to improve the gutters so the flow would be better for my property. This did not mean more expensive gutters just a Different installation from previous. Once I contracted with them the project manger reached out to set up a start date. The team that came out to do the job was both professional and efficient. They did a great job. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a new roof. They also coordinated with the team doing some chimney repairs on my house which was extremely helpful to me."

"It went very well. Two engineers came and looked at the outside of the house first, then the inside/basement/foundation. They educated me on how old houses settle, and what kinds of settling are of concern and what kinds are just normal and nothing to worry about. They gave me a list of things to look for and keep an eye on, but overall we were all pleasantly surprised that a 133 year old home was in such good shape. They also came up to the attic and looked at some roof concerns, and took a look at a detached garage to give me some information on whether or not a roof expansion would be possible with the current structural supports. They answered all of my questions and explained things in a way I understood; they offered information above and beyond what I thought to ask about that was useful. One thing I liked (but my realtor wasn't a fan of, tbh) was their friendly, folksy way of talking and relating to me, while at the same time offering professional opinions that were helpful to me."

"I had four seperate estimates to replace an aging 30+ square cedar shake roof. Scott provided the best and most detailed estimate, providing several different options regarding costs and quality. While he gave me the most competative bid of the four, most importantly I trusted that he was very knowlegable in the correct standards for cedar shake replacement, and no shortcuts would be taken. I was not as trusting with the three other roofing companies that stated that they were "cedar certified", so I went with Traditions. They installed the roof in a week, it looked great and survived the first winter with no issues.
