"Dani is one of the best contractors I have utilized. He is knowledgeable in the vast area of electrical, lighting and other electronic products. He installed several digital video and lighting equipment throughout our home. In addition, upgrading light fixtures and outdated electrical wall plugs. What I appreciated the most is he took to the time to educate me on the solutions and repairs he provided. If your looking for a professional and electrician I recommend DC Electrical Services! Would definitely used again in the future!"

"Mr. Gunner has the superior working knowledge in troubleshooting and diagnosing my electrical systems for the projects in my home and recommended the correct switches and plugs to utilized in my bed rooms, bathroom s and outsides. He corrected the wiring on all my systems to ensue they met all codes and was able to identify and correct the electrical wiring in my junction box to ensue they were properly rewired and tested before using any switches and correctly rewired the electrical box for the dishwasher. He is very knowledgeable and has a strong detail in ensuring all safety protocols are followed. He is committed in delivering 100% client satisfaction. I would recommend him to other friends and associates for any electrical system they would need done. Attached are a few systems he worked on in my home."

"We called Cathy with All Electric about fixing some wiring in our electrical panel that was to be a simple job. She scheduled Corey that same day to home to the house. Once he arrived at the house and looked at the job, he noticed we had major issues which posed a severe fire hazard. He and Cathy did not hesitate and got back out there as soon as they could to install a new electrical panel. Corey explained everything in great detail and truly cares about the work he does. Corey and Cathy are truly amazing and I would not hesitate to call them again for my electrical needs."

"I highly recommend JRam Electrical Services. Mr. Ramos contacted me towards the end of the day, but still came to our home that day. We had at least one circuit breaker replaced in the main breaker box. Mr. Ramos and his assistant were very professional and courteous. He showed us the problem, explained what it was causing and then what he would do to fix the issue. No more lights flickering, pulsing, or dimming. Great Job! I highly recommend."

"The workmanship is professional. He noted a problem with electricity and checked the electrical panel. He was pleasant, courteous but tracked muddy, wet shoes into home. He didn’t tell me that he needed to replace the electrical box in the ceiling until the job was completed. It was surprising since he notified me of each critical step he took. Overall the price was fair and Robert completed the job competently. I will call him again for other electrical needs."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Salado, TX

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
