"The technician was eight hours late. It was 7 p.m. when he and a helper arrived. Neither one had any idea how to clean my wood stove. They dismantled it, including tearing down the catalytic converter. They lost bolts. When they were "done," they put stuff back in without bolts and all the catalytic plates fell out. The stove is now unusable in the dead of winter. The parts will cost $1200 plus a service call from a qualified technician, which is almost impossible to get without booking a month in advance in this weather. This order will cost me $2,000 at the rate it is going. This is a horrible company. Will not return calls or address damage. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I don't care if a veteran owns it, they do awful work, are ignorant and have no respect for customers or their property."

Customers say: Quick response

"Rob did an absolutely amazing job on our steps. He was quick in his response time and he came out and took care of the work and helped me with some other small issues with my porch as well. I will be using him again in the future and ensuring that if anyone asks for a pro that he is the one I recommend. "

"I recently hired EA Masonry to install a shed base and expand my concrete patio, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Their pricing was very competitive, but what really stood out was how incredibly friendly and welcoming they were from the very beginning, I felt comfortable with them right away. The quality of their work was phenomenal. They were professional, detail-oriented, and clearly take great pride in what they do. It’s rare to find a team that combines skill, reliability, and such genuine kindness. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire for a project. In fact, I already have another project for the Spring that they will be returning for!"

"Gary called me within minutes of posting project on site. Met with me the next day (end of June 2023) to go over project. Told me his per square foot rate, which I agreed to. Bragged about how sourced his stone locally and also told me that the stone was included in the quote. Gary said he was 3 weeks out. I agreed to everything. Said he would get me samples the following. Did not hear from him the following week. Called him. He seemed aggravated that I was calling him after he did not respond to my text or phone calls. Said he would call me the next day to tell me when he would show up to do job. Never called and did no hear from him again. Strung me along for a month and then ghosted me. Very unprofessional, rude and would not use him if he was the last mason on earth."

"Jim was great. Came out three times to review the project and let us know what he thought and could be done. Had many masons say the job could not be done, but Jim did it and it came out awesome. Already asked him to install spark arrestors on my chimneys. Highly recommend."

A professional repointing lasts 20 to 30 years without maintenance and extends up to 50 years when maintained diligently. This process protects your brickwork using high-quality materials that ensure lasting performance and durability. Consistent upkeep preserves its strength and appearance, providing enduring protection and enhancing your home’s overall structural integrity for decades.

You know your house needs repointing when you notice clear signs such as cracked, flaking, or missing mortar and visible discoloration on the brick surfaces. Additional indicators include loose bricks, water damage, and gaps between the brick joints that compromise the overall integrity of the structure. Addressing these issues promptly protects your investment and sustains the durability and curb appeal of your home.

A house needs repointing to preserve both its structural integrity and visual appeal. Mortar acts as a vital bonding agent that holds the bricks securely together. When the mortar deteriorates, it exposes the structure to water infiltration and further decay, increasing the risk of costly repairs. Repointing stops decay and reinforces the exterior, ensuring long-term protection.
