"
He has done a custom-built closet, which turned out beautiful. He also has completely gutted and remodeled a downstairs bathroom. It turned out beautiful. We bought our hot tub from him when he was in the hot tub business. We have had the hot tub for 16 years. He does very good work and is pretty knowledgeable, but one has to have patience with him because he gets off in different directions sometimes. I put up with it because I like what he does. Some people might be a little bugged because sometimes he says he will be back tomorrow, but then doesn't show up until several days later. The only issue I have with him is his timeliness. He is working on my deck right now. He is repairing where I have a 100-year-old tree that grew and put a hole in the deck and buckled it up. We are just getting started on that project. For us he has done carpentry, plumbing -- he installed all the toilets and did all the plumbing work. He is also a licensed electrician so he has done electrical work and you name it -- deck work. He is kind of a jack of all trades. Right now I know he is working on someone's basement, supporting steel beams and all that stuff. That is why he has not finished my deck work because he is busy with the basement. He also put in our garbage disposal for us. That guy has done so much I can't remember everything. I have been dealing with him, probably, 20 years plus. On the fence his cost was about $3,000 and the materials were the other $3,000. He will save people money because he has the customer buy the materials after he tells them what he needs. He takes no markup in the materials. He even went with me when I bought the materials for the fence. He only charges you for his labor. I have several other project for him to do including putting on a garage roof.
"

"These people are remarkable. Shad Hufnagel who designed our yard is outstanding. We wanted a "zero scaped" yard and we got it. We have worked with Shad for several years to create a front yard that is beautiful and easy care. Everyone comments on its beauty. Shad is extremely knowledgeable and gracious. They have replaced plants that didn't thrive the first season at no cost. They are reasonable and thorough. They are also creative. Shad thinks outside the box to meet a customer's wishes.
We love our yard. I give them my highest recommendation.I would never use anyone else in town.
"

"When all was said and done and I thought back over the days, no, months of deciding to do it, deciding what to do, deciding how much to do and finally deciding who will get the job. The job in this case was a concrete paver patio plus a flower garden with a steel trellis and screening trees to border the patio.
Of all the agonizing I did before even deciding who would get the job, I really should have just gone directly with All-N-1 and saved myself sooo much grief. We did go out for three bids and All-N-1 got the job. I decided on All-N-1 for a slew of factors. First, the lady that we worked with, Charlotte, actually listened to us. She was very knowledgeable and had many great ideas. She supported our concerns and offered suggestions. Her suggestions were so spot on that it felt like we were old neighbors! When we got the proposal it took me exactly one approving nod to decide on All-N-1. I had experience with the company as they installed our underground sprinkler system and maintain it twice a year as I took out a maintenance contract when the system was installed - never regretted that move. I have had to have the system modified over the years to relocate heads and they always do a highly professional job and I get a superb sprinkler system (like new ) each year.
The patio project went a bit rough at first. We had to make some design changes owing to the sun room we had just installed and the need for the patio level to be high enough to prevent us from having to have a door landing with too many stairs. Charlotte again dove in and worked with the sun room contractor to coordinate the effort. She was here every day while the project was going on. It was a project that involved the ground preparation, level build up and sloping, three size brick random pattern install, sprinkler system head location moves to accommodate the new structures as well as a brand new zone added to cover the garden/flower/tree area with an underground drip irrigation (soaker hose) system. John explained the new soaker system to me in depth obviously taking a lot of pride in his design. Also showed me how easy it would be to extend the soakers into other flower beds should we choose to add more in the future. I thought that was very insightful of him.
Problems? - a tiny few. One of the arbor vitae trees was a bit too close to the back side of the trellis for my comfort. I could just see me having to get back in there later in the years to try to trim the tree away form the trellis. I mentioned this to Charlotte and it was immediately taken care of by moving the tree away form the trellis a bit over a foot. Otherwise, the only problems were due to my not understanding some of the processes but Charlotte or one of here workers would always give me a full explanation so I felt smart enough to know there was really no problem.
Kudos to Jonathan the patio guy and John the irrigation guy and of course Charlotte the project manager. It ended with exactly what we wanted and with minimal anxieties for my wife and I. We highly recommend All-N-1 and will use them for all of our future landscaping needs.
Feel free to contact me if you would like additional information 913.319.6084.
"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Salina, KS

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
