"I normally don't complain but I paid near 1K for a top to bottom move-in clean for my 4 bed 2 bath house. She got the main areas kitchen/living room. I am noticing spots that were completely missed as I am moving in. There were jelly beans on the stairs, which were in the entrance closet originally. I was going to let that slide as it took me 2 seconds to pick up. Cobwebs in the higher up areas, ash/butts in one of the closets. Dust in the door frames/bathroom vents/medicine cabinets. There's still scum on the kitchen faucet. While she said she cleaned the dishwasher I pulled out the filer and there was plenty of slime on it and gunk on the outer edges. She's very nice but I feel the attention to detail fell through on this one. Grated, I did a short walk through post-clean. I was busy packing for the move and I missed things that I am now catching. I feel the price I paid was an overcharge for what I got. I essentially paid $200/hr. Cleaning should have been way more through. "

He said he would need to schedule a day to do the work. Thinking this must be an extensive project, I bought it. Ten days later I finally was called to say they would come that afternoon to do it. After the cleaning they glued dampers to the tops of the flues and were done in about 45 minutes. Al defended his $750/hour labor rate and double cleaning rate, saying it was due to his "high overhead" costs that I didn't understand. I still don't understand. Omega Construction is aptly named, they are the last one you should think of calling. They apparently only maintain their good BBB rating because the BBB doesn't consider "pricing issues" or "buyer's remorse" in their calculations. BBB is basically another way to advertise."
