They replaced much of the original wire and several lights and upgraded a couple of the teansformers. Also cleaned up and tuned up the entire system. "I had originally found Clean Cut Tree Experts while doing research on Angie's List a year ago for a company to remove a tree at my parent's home in another city. I never contacted them for that job because my parent's preferred a more local (to them) company. After a recent storm knocked down several tree limbs I remembered this company and was happy that their office was able to get an estimator out to my home and he called on expected day and arrived on time. Quote was reasonable compared to another one received. Before I was able to approve the job a second storm came through and modified scope of job. I contacted office, explained what now needed to be done and we were still able to use still applicable portion of original quote. I was extremely happy that they also had a crew in my city that day and were able to schedule them to do the work the same day (when I had expected it to be weeks before job could get done). Crew arrived as promised with all the necessary equipment and did removal and clean-up efficiently. I was very pleased with their work and plan to work with them in future."

"Vernon talked a great game but his workmanship was poor. Partway through the project I discovered that the sprinkler lines were not properly buried. Most of them were just under peeled back grass and some spots were still visible on the surface. I had been very clear that the lines needed to be buried below the depth of penetration for a lawn aerator. When I complained he gave a variety of defenses including that the lines would sink into the ground with snowfall, that an aerator could not penetrate the plastic pipe, and that my lawn would not need aerating. Also more than half of the sprinkler heads were sticking up more than 3 inches out of the turf and at risk of being destroyed by a lawn mower. I had to reinstall most of what he did. If you hire him I would advise having everything specified in writing and monitoring his workmanship very closely."
