"My chair was broken in two places. At his request, I sent several pictures to Mr. Davis to evaluate the problem and provide an estimate. We agreed on a price and date/time for the work to be completed. Mr. Davis arrived as scheduled and completed the welding work in my garage. He was very professional, explained what he was going to do and finished the work in a timely manner."

"They performed an inspection for the buyers on the home we are selling. I question the general knowledge of Mr. Donnelly who performed the inspection, or they were working in conjunction with the buyer to get a price reduction. Some of the items noted were a non-working lantern. It's a candle holder. For a wax candle. Not sure why we would need a licensed electrician to repair it. They also noted that our garbage disposal was working fine but would recommend that we have a licensed plumber disconnect it since we shouldn't have one with a septic system. And that is correct. Which is why we don't have one and never did. Interesting how it was working correctly. Our brand new smoke detectors were also cited for not meeting the standards of the new law that went into effect last year. When I purchased them I brought them to the office of the State Fire Marshall to make sure they met the new code and they did. When I saw that in the report I was concerned and took one right away to our local firehouse and they assured me that they are correct. So either he didn't really look at them, or he doesn't know what he's talking about. Also cited was that our ridge vent was not properly installed and there was tar paper blocking it. I just had a roofing contractor come out this morning and he was completely perplexed. He took pictures to show me that what the inspector deemed as a blocked ridge cap, was in actuality the underside of the cap and screen mesh. I could go on and on, but I think my point is clear. While there certainly were some issues, (what home doesn't have some), it was hard to trust anything that was in the report. We lost the sale because we refused to fix things that were not an issue. If a future buyer chooses this company they will be told to find someone else, as this company will not be welcome back on our property. MP"

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Salisbury, MD

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
