Customers say: True professional

"Scott was fantastic to work with. Up front, honest, and a true craftsman. He cleaned up after himself after each day of work and was respectful to neighbors who kept stopping by to tell him how great the fence looked. I couldn’t be happier with it. "

"The professionals at USSA Industries visited my home to assess and review my gate and fence project. They provided a detailed and competitive quote for my project. I met with the USSA team 3 times to review the details of the project. They were very willing to listen to my requests for changes to the type of wood that I wanted and the build process. USSA provided information in advance on how the gate and fence would be built. I was very pleased with the look and quality of the final build. USSA service was outstanding (answering questions, adapting to change requests, quick completion of the project, functionality, and clean up of the work zone) "

"I will never hire Diamond Fence again - or recommend them to anyone. They did a very poor job - left big concrete posts protruding above the ground rather than having them covered in the ground. They cut up my grass in order to allow the gate to swing open - and never repaired it. The gate never has closed correctly because it is misaligned to the fence. They left concrete splatter on the fence and driveway. When we asked them to fix it, they took no responsibility. Their ads for satisfaction guaranteed are a lie - and I, like most people, would rather pay twice as much for a job well done than pay a so-called, "good price" for a poor job. I recommend you take your valuable time and hard-earned money elsewhere. - Debbie Ekker"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Salt Lake City, UT

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
