"I found My Three Sons on the internet while looking for someone to repair water damage from a leaky roof. This repair was not just for painting - there was significant damage to the old lathing that old houses have. This damage was very significant particularly because it had occurred on a house built in 1908. My problem is that I am in Lexington only once a month and needed someone who was trust worthy and would do what they said they would do - without me there to supervise the works progress on a day to day basis. As one meets Keith, the owner, you can tell right away that he is a man of character and is honest. I saw the final results this past weekend while in Lexington and they are very nice. "Recently purchased 107 year old home.  One side of stone foundation had crumbling mortar joints and missing stones. Needed repaired and tuck pointed. Woody came out examined the foundation and masonry work and had an estimate with in one hour of getting my call.  Very knowledgeable about very old masonry work.  Work was completed in 2-3 days by himself and crew or 2-3.  Went to great pains not to damage neighbors newly stamped concrete walk between houses.  Clean up was very complete and the foundation looks brand new.  Definitely would hire again.  Does everything exactly as he says he will."

"I chose this company because they'd done a neighbors' concrete and they were pleased with the experience and the sealant that was used doesn't change the appearance like most do. <br />   When I first contacted them they were booked ahead with big jobs. They could get to me by mid-June, but would fit my job in earlier if possible. They did, several weeks earlier. <br />   They cleaned my driveway, personal walk and patio, public sidewalk, and curb. Special care was given to the highly dirty/mildewed areas. I pointed out some decorative border stones and a repaired area that would be fragile and he took care to not damage those (or anything else).  <br />   They discussed whether the water-based or solvent-based sealant would be better given the age of my concrete (and the tendency to mildew). The solvent-based was used with special attention to those areas prone to mildew. <br />   They kept me well-informed re: what was being done and what I can expect going forward. <br />   I'm LOVING the clean look and also seeing water just bead up on top!! <br />   I didn't give an 'A' re: price, but it may have been competitive re: what I had done and the products/tools used. I hadn't gotten any other prices since I knew I wanted them to do it."

"Home Depot sent a subcontractor to do the job. They did a very good job but they were very, very expensive. They were very thorough. They closed off the kitchen, took it apart, and redid it all by themselves. Then they cleaned up after themselves. I wanted someone to just come in and do it. All they did was replace the cabinets and the countertops. They didn't do that much but they did a very good job. I recommend them if someone isn't concerned about the cost. They cleaned up and taped the floors so that they wouldn't get sawdust anywhere and they did a thorough and good job. The price was very high for what they did. I would use someone locally next time. It wasn't done quickly but it was done well."
