"My wife and I just bought a house in Pinellas County, near our daughter and family, but we were still living on the East coast of Florida. We came in to coordinate projects related to plumbing, electrical and carpentry. I had three companies/contractors for each category scheduled to come in and review the projects and give me quotes. Trying to schedule 9 contractors is like trying to herd cats, but it got done, even though there were some time variations on when they came out that day, all but a few showed up. I always like to meet and get multiple bids on any projects I have for my home. The inspection report for the home showed several pluming issues. Of the three plumbers who came out. Only Paul Laezza from Phillip Maurici, “The Clean Plumbers” came back with a quote without additional prompting. Again, his bid was not the cheapest, but his demeanor and demonstration of his skills won me over. His company sent out a plumber who did exactly what they said they would. I was on the East coast at the time, and we communicated via text and voice. He sent me pictures of his work and all my plumbing is working beautifully. I found Paul to be very professional, pleasant to talk with and an expert in his field. The company “the Clean Plumbers” had some issues with phone support over the weekend (they share an off-hour phone service), but eventually that was resolved. I will use Paul again for any future plumbing needs."

"Chris Bahr showed up on time and did a quality job. They had to remove old plumbing and re-route new plumbing for a washing machine connection. The were very nice, respectful and grateful for the  chance to do the work. They replace the old plumbing with all new parts and the job was very professional looking upon completion. The also offered suggestions on other projects I had in the works and recommended other companies that I could trust. if you want a good job at a fair price, use Chris Bahr. "I messaged Wayne Conyers Plumbing last night on Angie's List and received a call first thing this morning. They came out to inspect the leak and determined that it would require replacing the unit. The house was built in 2006 so I am assuming the tank was the original. They came back around noon and installed the tank in about one hour. They were courteous, professional, and quick."

"Craig came out and did several tests, he ended up getting in the pol and notice my pool drain pipe was broke under the pool. I told him I never used the drain so he placed a plug in at no additional cost. Woke up this morning and this was the first morning in 3 months I did not have to add water. FANTASTIC job! "<p>We obtained four quotes from highly rated plumbing companies for this job and there was a 25% difference between the high and low quotes. So, it pays to do your homework.  We have a double trussed house for a tile roof, so there is very limited space in the attic. It's very hot up there in July and we marveled that they could do the amount of work they did in the cramped adverse conditions they had to work in.</p> <p>I can't say enough good things about R. Carr. These guys were great. Other than the inconvenience of the length of the job, everything went smoothly. We had two plumbers, Walt and Joe, who were easy to be around, professional and very competent. Greg, their service manager, came up with much less intrusive ways to enter the house and had better ideas on how to run the piping to minimize repair work to drywall.  Joe and Walt piggy backed on his ideas and had even more ideas on how to make this job less intrusive. If you're considering having this done, it makes a huge difference how they run the piping. It determines how much repair work you'll have to do after they leave.  Make sure you understand where they will enter into the house and where the pipes will run down the walls into cabinets, etc. The inspector had nothing negative to say about their job and was very complimentary of the work they did.  It's been a few weeks since the work was completed and nothing is leaking.  There is a little bit more noise when toilets refill (pipes are in the walls, not in the slab), but you cannot hear water running through the pipes in the attic. Overall, we're very happy with the job they did and can highly recommend this company to you.</p> <br />"
