"Great to work with. Was originally only looking for lawn mowing but with Richter Tree and Lawn Service, I got more - I got whole lawn, weed, and tree care as well. They do good work and my lawn looks great after they have finished mowing and edging my yard. They even blow all the clippings off of the concrete and porches before they leave. Richter Tree & Lawn is flexible with timing and needed services. I was out of the country for close to a month. They came by to mow on schedule (twice) and permitted me to pay them with their first mowing after I returned from my vacation. There aren't a lot of services that would have provided me that benefit especially considering I was just getting started with them so they didn't really know me nor whether or not they could trust me to pay them after the fact. I tried to prepay for the services they were going to perform while I was away, but Richter prefers to be paid after his company provides their services."

"(December - 2020) - Rene Pena, (owner of Artistic Trees, Inc) offered excellent advice about which trees to prune, where to cut and why. His men were quick, thorough and knowledgable once the job was started. Rene and his crews have a sound understanding of oak wilt (which is in the neighborhood) and were very careful to follow strict protocols for trimming live oaks. His bid was reasonable and detailed. Every facet of his outline was checked off, one by one by Rene and his crew. Because of the success of this venture, I then selected him to carry out renovations in our back yard (after getting several bids from several companies) (April, 2021) Once again, Rene was the CEO in charge of multiple facets of our yard renovation. He was very "hands on" before, during and after the project. He made it look easy to present an overall view of his vision for our back yard, including removing railroad ties borders, reshaping existing beds to capitalize on our changing sun/shade cycles, recommending treatment for newly planted Cedar Elm trees, and offering advice on new shrubs and plants to replace existing beds, etc. His bid was reasonable and very explicit so that there would be no surprises in the end. Once the job started, Rene was key in overseeing deliveries, assigning duties to his workers, arranging for sprinkler repair, purchasing and making plans for various beds, directing the shape and design of Windsor Stone retaining walls (again, his suggestion). He demands much of his crews and has no problem pitching in to help when needed. Because deliveries of dirt, stone, mulch, etc. were done in a timely manner, no time was wasted when employees were present. His crews are very knowledgable, work efficiently, ask appropriate questions and get an amazing amount of work done in a single day. Communication was easy with his assistant, Ashley, and all calls were returned and questions were answered quickly. My experience with Rene has been that his word is his bond. If he says he will get it done, he will find a way to get it done! I would, and have, recommended Artistic Trees, Inc. to my friends and family because of the excellence of their work.
