"Had a very good experience with American Fabrication. Love my new modern black iron horizontal railings. Beats 1990’s carpet wrapped stair edges and wood spindles! If looking to sell it’s also a great home improvement… love at first sight. The team brought this monster in one piece and were very careful of my newly installed and painted stairs and skirting. Very nice team, polite and professional at what they do. See before and after pics.."

"They did a poor job replacing a wooden gate for us. The salesman specified cedar as we agreed, but the wood that was delivered was pine, so the job was delayed while cedar was found and delivered. The gate did not close properly and the trim was improperly cut and installed. Finally, when I complained, another person came out with the crew to get it straight. When I told him what was wrong, in admittedly an energetic, frustrated tone, he told me he was the owner and would not put up with my complaining. After they left, there were more adjustments I had to do to the latch, and now, a few years later, the lag bolts that they installed to the garage wall have worked loose, so I had to repair that also. The only good thing about this company was the nice salesman and a good price. By the way, they are in Anaheim, not Irvine; I guess their name is to give the impression that they are a classy outfit, which they are definitely not."

"The winds blew down a portion of my wooden fence. I was given several referrals from Angie’s List. I accepted an offer from Cobano’s Inc. Benjamin and his staff were out and repaired my fence using existing non-damaged wood and purchasing only what was needed for the repair. The job was completed and my fence looks great! Funny, I received a much higher bid from another company on Angie’s List to do the same thing for twice the price. So be sure to check with more than one company when getting work done even if you are selecting from Angie’s List. I am VERY happy with the end results. The Workers were pleasant and very respectful of my property ! I am happy! I would recommend them to my friends ! "
