As a single mother with children and an elderly parent at home, I felt intimidated and paid the remaining $1,100 in cash to avoid escalation. After full payment: He continued to refuse to provide an invoice or receipt He yelled during phone calls, postponed repeatedly, and eventually blocked me I received no documentation at all Because my landlord required information about the door, I hired another contractor to inspect the work. The contractor confirmed that the installed door is NOT fire-rated, even though the original door was fire-rated. This is a serious safety and code compliance issue. I am now unable to provide my landlord with any documentation because Sergio s Construction refuses all communication. Due to the safety concerns, misrepresentation, lack of documentation, and intimidation, I am requesting a refund. I do not feel safe allowing this contractor back onto the property."
