"System Pavers is HIGHLY motivated and well optimized to make the sale – but they WILL NOT stand behind their “system.” If/when problems develop (even due to their own failures), you are on your own. After a very high-pressure sales pitch (disguised as a “design meeting”) with all the accoutrements (fancy PowerPoint demonstration, a copy of their very large surety bond, commitments that they will stand behind us, and a “discount” that magically expired the same day), System Pavers completed our $72k backyard paver project in September 2021. Over the next few weeks, the pavers began to separate, sag, and “crown.” Also, the drainage in many areas was toward the house, not away from it. They did come back a couple of times to remove pavers, recompact, and reset. However, when failures continued, they asked us to let the system fail for another year so they would only have to do a major rehabilitation once. When that year elapsed, they were nowhere to be found. Very difficult to get them to come back out. Then, instead of fixing the failed system, they had a soils engineer evaluate. The engineer’s report confirmed they did not properly prepare the subgrade. They recently sent an email essentially saying they didn’t want to keep spending money on their failed system. They also claimed the warrantee would not cover the repairs. They are simply walking away, leaving us with an unsafe, embarrassing backyard and a worthless major investment. What a joke. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY."

"Bernardo & his team did an outstanding job, designing, building & installing a custom combo metal frame & cedar wood 10’x8’ double wide gate. In addition, they did some other fence repair. Bernardo had great ideas about the style & look. I listened & couldn’t be happier. His pricing was in line with 6 other bids. I selected Bernardo because he offered ideas as opposed to just saying “oh that’s going to cost you more money”. I actually got a custom gate compared to others so in reality, his pricing was the best considering it was more than a rectangular design as others quoted. I highly recommend Bernardo’s fencing. If I had anything to pick at, the clean up could have been a little better. I did do some sweeping up afterwards but that’s all I can think of as a nitpick."

"The contractor failed to complete the job, a bathroom restoration. The shower door was never installed. I contacted the contractor on over five occasions, attempting to persuade the contractor to complete this work, but neither he nor his team ever appeared again on my property. All amounts requested by the contractor have been paid."

"JR Fencing installed a large expensive fence in Oct of 2023. It looked great initially. However we began to see large pools of water around the fence in 4 or 5 spots. It turns out they cut the main water line to our barn during fence construction and just filled in the hole without fixing it or letting us know. They came back and repaired the pipe, but did the repair poorly and it leaked again immediately creating lots of mud and water loss, with no water to the barn for our horse. They also cut irrigation lines in several places and poured cement around the cut pipes without fixing them or notifying us. It is now June 2014 and we are just finding all the broken pipes. In addition, the lumber posts that were used for the fence have warped over time and have become curved, giving the fence a sloppy crazy look. One gate post has become so curved the gate won’t close much less latch. I took off at least an inch off the inside of the post to allow the gate to close but about a month later the post has further warped and the gate won’t close again. JR Fencing has refused to replace the post or fix it in any way after more than 10 phone calls and messages and emails over the last 6 months."
