They pay close attention to detail and spend probably a third of their work prepping the area to be painted. Caulking, patching and sanding, I have learned,this makes such a huge difference on the appearance and durability of your project. They painted the stair posts then noticed some imperfections in the wood, so worked to patch, sand and repaint so the the final product was flawless.
