"Bruce Robinson I would unreservedly recommend Lionel Martinez, L Martinez Construction LLC, for any home construction job, from a remodel to a new home build. Lionel is a superb builder as well as an honest businessman. We hired Lionel for a significant construction job on our existing home. Lionel laid out the job in detail, provided a thorough estimate, and came in on budget. Based on that excellent experience, we had him build us a cabin in the mountains. Lionel was an exemplary contractor, laying out the project, establishing both fix prices and allowances based on the component of the job, and stuck to these prices without the shifty add-ons that you get from many contractors. His workmanship is superb, and he has a network of subcontractors who also performed at a high level. He ensured that his workers and subs kept the job site clean and completed the work to his exacting standards, even if that required additional work. Finally, he worked with my wife and me to make sure the finished product would exceed our expectations. In the case of our cabin, there was no mystery about the budget, and no surprises - the cabin came in on budget as well. Having had other experiences with contractors that left us unsatisfied, I can say that from the workmanship to the budget, Lionel Martinez exceeded our expectations in every way."

Most of our house burned down and year and a half ago and no one was willing to take on our complicated project, except for two other contractors who abandoned to job and ran off with our money (avoid Desert Sun Builders Paul Williams and GDuran construction ). We finally found Circle Diamond and all of our dreams are coming true. Francisco has a large crew of capable, hardworking, reliable builders, who work fast. You’ll never see your property languishing unattended for weeks with his team. His prices and contract terms are so reasonable. He’s not out to rob you like most contractors in Santa Fe. "Dream Built Construction is a swindle. There address 5207 Agua Fria Rd is an empty lot. After having my roof done by them and getting a so-called *warranty* I cannot reach them by phone, text nor email. They charged me $800 to *remove* my HVAC and never removed it from the roof. I had to have the City inspector to my home several times for issues. He has done a *no show* now 2 times to get some follow up work done. I am filing an official complaint with both the City and the State Registration Licensing Dept. / Construction Division. This individual, Luis Dominguez is a fast-talking, dishonest, dishonorable person. Buyer beware!!!"

"We hired Paul Williams Desert Sun, to restore our roof and demo fire damage to our burned house. We agreed to work in $50k increments and that every phase of the work must be completed before asking for more money. Paul had trouble hiring and keeping subs and would complain to us what losers they were, as if was not responsible for hiring them. The quality of the work was atrocious, but before it was near finished, he demanded more money. We said no, you have to finish, and he took off. I have all the pictures and if Zo can post them, I will."

"Hired them a year ago in August 2019. They moved my laundry room and did some other projects around my house. A year later August 2020, my water heater popped a line after they had worked on the lines when they moved the laundry room. They said that they thought the line was okay and just left it without fixing it. Flooded the room that the water heater was in. Called them about it and initially they came and fixed the pipe but when it came to who's fault it was about the line breaking they said it wasn't their fault but they would fix it. The way they wanted to fix it was not how any other company would fix it and when I told them that they kept insisting on doing it their own way. I was also told they wouldn't pay for the flooring so that cost was on me to get the flooring . After back and forth for a month or so I was forced to either do it their way or not at all and pay for it all myself. I complained to BBB about it and after that didn't hear from them and when finally got a hold of them they said they weren't going to do it at all and that now it's my problem."

"Felipe and his crew did a large project for me (back porch) and myriad smaller items to repair our new home. Short version: I'll definitely be using them again and recommending them, but you need to be engaged. They are not a set-and-forget crew. In general, the quality of the work is high. The porch is exactly as we imagined it and we're quite happy. The only issues I have with some of the work is the fit and finish. Roofing nails missing the joists weren't redone, so now there are nails hanging into my porch. The ramset nails they used to attach the base plate to the concrete pad had some kind of wax/rubber around them which wasn't completely removed prior to painting, so there are weird nubs sticking up on the base plate. Some of the screws on door moulding weren't puttied over. The biggest issue I had with them was communication and scheduling. Felipe forgot a few parts of the project and things got dropped a few times. It worked out because I was paying close attention, but I think he may just have too much going on so things will fall between the cracks. Scheduling was a regular issue. Our project took place right outside of our bedroom, so we wanted to know the night before if they would be there. It was about 50/50 whether they'd give us that heads up. They also broke an expensive high security lock and I was not reimbursed or discounted. On the scale of the project, it was a rounding error in cost, but it's the principle of the matter on that one."
