He went to a local near-by hardware store and purchased the necessary sheet rock, which I paid for as it was an extra item. In order to get at the damage, he had to pull off a large 4x4 section of peg-board that itself had been torn. We discussed what might be done to replace,the peg-board but made no decision at that time. I left him to do the work, but when I returned, he had removed the peg-board so carefully that it could be remounted and used again, over the now completely repaired and re plastered damage! "MC bid 4000 psi concrete with rebar, although driveways are typically 3000 psi with mesh. Crew arrived on schedule. First day was old driveway removal then prep for the pour. Put in 1/2 in rebar on 24 in centers with standoffs. Very meticulous. Took them from 7 AM until about noon. Pour started at 6 AM on the second day. Extensive careful finishing which wasn't completed until about 11 AM. They put a lightly brushed finish on it. Third day one of the crew returned to remove the forms and generally clean up and touch up. Crew obviously knew what they were doing. Resulting driveway looks excellent. Can't comment on durability for about another 10 years or so. :) Overall, MC did an excellent job and I would use them again and recommend them to others. They stepped on a couple of plants, but that was unavoidable. No issues whatsoever."
