"Walter and his crew did an excellent job completely relandscaping my yard from the ground up. They ground a stump, did the grading, installed retaining walls and underground drainage, installed sod, planted all kinds plants, and laid boulders, gravel and pavers. They also built two giant brick walls that collectively stretched about half an acre. They were professional, respectful, responsive, kind and they showed up when they said they would. A couple times mistakes were made because of me and they corrected it and didn’t charge me. Overall, we received a great value for the price we paid and we highly recommend their services."

"It went beautifully. Greg and Ryan removed old soil, did new sprinklers, brought in new top soil, laid sod exceptionally efficiently with a truly outstanding end product: a beautiful new yard. And really telling about the quality of the work is the fact that they did complete cleanup after. "The whole process was great! The job I had the bros do was pretty challenging in that we wanted to save a 30+ year existing wisteria that had grown in and around the former trellis. We had the bros demo the existing structure and weld a new steel trellis in it's place. They did a great job and saved the wisteria! The vine is growing nicely around the new structure and am confident the steel structure the bros built will last forever. Very professional, friendly, hard-working, and skilled. "Yesterday afternoon we noticed that the hot water pressure relief valve was leaking some hot water out onto our side yard. Called Joe and he said he would pick up the part and install it on Sunday (Easter...Today). We checked it later and the leak had intensified to fill our bucket every half hour. Called Joe again and he said he would come over and plug the valve outlet that night and again would pick up and install  the pressure relief valve on Sunday. He showed up quickly with a plug device and sealed the outlet. The following morning he showed up and installed the valve. He then graciously answered several of my unrelated problems/ questions and gave some great advice. <br /> <br /> It's always a pleasure to deal with Joe. "The project turned out marvelously, just as designed.  Michael Polikoff is a true artist as well as an accomplished architect, a rare combination indeed.  His understanding of synergy with geometric shapes, space utilization, and intriguing design features is truly impressive.  His knowledge of botanical varieties, and their adaptability to various environments and locations, is enviable.  Michael took my small, rectilinear back yard from a "ho-hum", run-of-the-mill tract home layout to a "WOW!", eye-popping botanical garden sanctuary, complete with a unique custom cedar pergola, saltille-tiled extended patio, six-foot lion's head with two-tiered water fountain, and flowering  "focus" areas surrounding a central lawn feature.  I couldn't have been happier with the design and final product.  He even brokered a suitable compromise between the tile company and I, when the custom tile order was miss-filled and shipped to the site.  I requested plenty of color in the landscape design, and he delivered in style.  He was very helpful in selecting a contractor to implement the design.  Although there were bumps in the road with this contractor, the final product for the given price was more than a great value.  I would strongly recommend Michael Polikoff to any commercial or residential client looking for a talented landscape architect possessing insight, vision, breadth of knowledge, and a successful track record.  He was highly responsive to my questions, punctual in appointments, and always "on-call" should the need arise.  For such a talented individual, his billing rates are very reasonable."
