They built wall nichos, retiled the floor, smooth finish on the walls and painted, replaced an old vanity and shelf, rewired the outlets and adding an outlet for an electric bidet. They installed a new vessel sink and shower . The river walk design on the walls was beautiful. They were professional, honest and not only thorough but detail oriented. They communicated with us from start to finish. They cleaned up after each day and hauled away the debris.I highly recommend them to everyone. "They cut corners and changed my preferred window choice to a standard window without consulting me first. The standard windows they installed were still better than what I had but I should have been consulted first. They brought the wrong storm door which I refused to accept but they did correct it. The installations were done well. They painted my house exterior walls and skirting and did a great job. They also stucco'd my retaining wall and did a good job. The skirting was supposed to be restucco'd and painted but instead, they filled cracks with caulking and painted over it. They tried to make everything right."

"I paid $279 for 4 hours of general contractor work from Hands On Co. I had a list of small jobs I needed done around the house, which I relayed to the owner at our initial meeting. When the workmen showed up at the appointed time, they hadn't been given a clear idea of what they were there for. They were anticipating a one-hour job, and as it was late in the day, we decided to reschedule for the following morning.
They showed up on time the next day, and spent what seemed like a long time dragging all their stuff out of their trailer and into my front yard. In five hours (four plus an extra hour to clean up), the two men completed the installation of an interior door and swapped out the doorknob on the front door. They started, but weren't able to complete, some kitchen shelves I had wanted done. The foreman was friendly enough, but complained at length about everything I asked for. I had to work later that day, so letting them stay longer to finish the job wasn't an option. Really, by the end, I just wanted them to leave.
The work they completed was of good quality. It's possible I was expecting too much, but I felt that they were rather slow at their work. Also, I didn't appreciate all the griping.
