Earlier this year, i experienced a slow leak and extensive, associated black mold in my master bath. After a portion of the bath was removed and the mold remediated, I selected Hanks Custom Builders to do the remaining tear out and restoration/remodeling, based on a very thorough and reasonably priced estimate. Rene and, when needed, his associate, was here ever day, right on time until the project was finished. His experience, and background in graphic arts and custom construction greatly helped my decisions wrt tile selection and expert tile installation, tub, lighting and other accessories created a bathroom that greatly exceeds my expectations. Rene and his associate are personable, honest, and genuinely focused on delivering a superb project, and worked with me every day to be sure that the product was what i wanted. WRT unexpected issues that arise on nearly all remodel jobs, on tearing out my shower, he discovered that a building error in the initial construction 23 years ago resulted in a leaky window, the water from which completely rotted through the sheathing through to the exterior stucco. He quickly identified and implemented all the need repairs and ensured that my window will not leak again. I wish i had known about Hanks Custom Building several years ago when an error in original construction resulted in water damage to a third of my home, as well as for my kitchen remodel three years ago.
