"I hired Sergio for a small custom interior wall modification project installing millwork to create columns/pillars (involved removing drywall, and moving electrical). Pricing was negotiable and Sergio and crew seemed very knowledgeable on how to perform the tasks. Throughout the project, communication was open and freely flowed for the various sizing discussions, purchase needs, etc. Unfortunately, the final look showed some measurement/wood cutting imperfections, and painting and caulking issues. The Details: After a few days of finishing, I noticed some wood measurement issues (which I did not bother to tell him because it was too late to be fixed) and painting imperfections to which he informed when he could come by and fix- that date went by and nobody showed up without any further communication by him. So I asked again, he gave another day that his painter could come by but that day passed again without any further communication. After a month we noticed a bigger issue: The paint in-between the adjacent wood panels that essentially created vertical corners were peeling and created huge ugly gaps to be shown between them all along the heights of the columns. I assumed this was because they were painted without first caulking the seams. I informed Sergio but it was very difficult to reach him, and when he finally had someone come out to fix (after over a month), there was still some missed areas when he left. I appreciated Sergios follow-up communication and honesty at the very end after all was said and done, informing it was the best he could do given the ability of his crew. I understand these things happen and as long as contractors try and make it right, thats whats important. What I did not appreciate was the missed appointments, lack of communication on his end, and that he said his painter called me **picky** when the location of this project was smack down in the middle of my house for all to see. If I am paying for a service, I expect it to be great service and what I informed him about were only the major eye sores that just could not be ignored. My Conclusion: I would not recommend this contractor if you want the work done really nice with the expectation of great service. If you just want it accomplished with a negotiable price and dont care about any imperfections or much communication, then they do a really good job of that."

They went right to work and 3 of them loaded and hauled away about 3 yards of material in about a half hour. All were very friendly and professional. "I am very pleased and even amazed at the transformation of my back yard. First, I must compliment Jesse, the landscape architect who designed my project. I had very specific "wants and needs" which he incorporated perfectly. The renderings and plans were excellent. The job supervisor, Leo, was very impressive. Even though he was overseeing quite a few other jobs, he never forgot any details or tweeks I wanted in my project. He was always very responsive. It took approximately 3 months to complete my project. I'm sure it would have taken other companies much longer as I saw happening when my neighbors had landscape work done at their homes. Many days there were 5-7 men on my job; they showed up promptly at 7 AM and worked very hard all day. They would also clean up the site at the end of each day. They were very experienced, as evidenced by the great work they did. I am a very particular person, so I closely watched the work being done. Santiago was often on-site and always checked the plans to be sure the job was being built as specified, He also expertly did much of the work himself. My backyard went from having very little useable or functional space to a place where I can easily entertain 50 or more people. When the job was done they did the final TLC, as Leo calls it, and they even washed my lower story windows and patio doors that were bordering the construction site. Final compliments to Jessica the office admin person and Richard the owner of the company. Unfortunately the photos were taken on a cloudy day and don't do the project justice."

"Started off well by actually calling to say would be late at first (see the property to bid) apmt.  I appreciated the timely heads up. Communicates well.  We came to agreement of $790 for the job entailing 3 men to work about 8 hours,
and scheduled the work to be done a couple of weeks later.  I was pleased to receive an official quote by email, with explicit terms.  Replied with clarification.  Oscar replied, yes he had forgotten that.  Also his understanding had been that the above ground pool would be discarded, but actually the previous residents wanted to have it.  Oscar said it would be more work to dismantle it for reuse rather than just tear it down, and suggested that I ask the pool owners to pay the $60 more it would cost.  It was agreed.  I signed and email-returned the contract. Oscar emailed to remind me they would arrive in the morning at 7 am. They arrived about 7:15 and worked hard and wisely! (Extremely hot and humid day!)  Oscar said the pool owner came by and decided to discard the pool after all.  The job was finished in under 8 hours.  Well done!
I discussed with Oscar the possibility of his team doing our regular gardening on a weekly basis.  We came to agreement.  
We are also looking forward to planning the redesigning of the landscaping.
I was surprised to be asked for a check at the completion of the job, since my recollection of the contract terms had specified that an invoice would be sent, to be paid by mail (or credit card if arranged in advance).  In fact, I just now received the emailed invoice (with a balance due of $0).  No problem though, just surprised.
