"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"<p>Job was done on the date promised, in the time span estimated and at the price quoted. The two man team properly braced the porch roof before tearing the old column out. They built the new column on site. The team removed all tear down debris as well as the trash from the construction phase (a really big plus in my book since I have had other contractors leave their trash for me to clean up.) The contractor asked for a deposit before they began and the balance after the work was completed. I marked them down on punctuality since they told me that they would be here at 9:00 but it was 90 minutes later before they arrived and another 30 minutes before they started work. As I said above, the work completion was promised for the end of the day and they met that. </p> <br />"

"They removed old, wood siding and rain gutter system. After removal of old materials they installed new vinyl siding and rain gutter system.  After completion of the job there were nine discrepancies which needed to be corrected.  Of the nine, two were never correctly corrected and were finally accepted with some attempt at fixing.  I would recommend that anyone doing business with this company get a written contact citing exactly what materials are to be used, what is to be done and the cost.  Inferior materials were used in my rain gutter system with the assurance that the painted over material would last for years.  The paint started peeling within less than a year.  Several requests were made for corrective action with no response.  A serious problem which if uncorrected would have destroyed the siding around the garage door was discovered and the company notified immediately. The company did not respond to even look at the problem.  After three days I had the problem corrected.  During the sales pitch it was indicated that they would stand behind their product and workmanship.  Again, get this in writing."

"Roofco showed up at 7am on day one with several people and went to work. They tore off the entire roof and HAND-NAILED the entire job by lunch on day two. By far the fastest group of people I have ever seen do a roof. The fact that the whole roof was hand-nailed and fast makes me very happy. Roofco gave me a one year labor warranty that added to my satisfaction.
