I scheduled and paid for a deep clean of our new home before moving in — while it was completely empty — and they flat-out lied about doing the work. I received a text message saying their cleaners had arrived at the property, but when we got there (after traveling from out of state), the house was in filthy condition — dusty floors, dirty bathrooms, grimy surfaces. They didn’t lift a finger. It was exactly as the previous owners had left it. They charged us for a job they never even attempted to do, and now they’ve completely ghosted me. No calls, no texts, no emails. Just silence after taking our money. To say this was inconvenient would be an understatement. I’m 7.5 months pregnant, exhausted, and part of a military family trying to settle into a new home. We trusted this company to help during a vulnerable time — instead, they took advantage of us and left us with an uncleaned house and zero accountability. I have photo evidence of the state of the home and the text message they sent claiming the job was done. This company is not just lazy — they are deceitful. They knowingly scammed a pregnant woman and a military family, and clearly thought they could get away with it. If you’re even considering using this company, don’t. You’ll get lies, neglect, and a mess to clean up yourself. This is theft, plain and simple. Report them. Warn others. They deserve every bit of the bad press they get."

Tile size changes the workload. Large-format pieces mean fewer grout lines and faster coverage, but they’re heavier and need careful handling to avoid breakage and lippage. Small mosaics create intricate looks yet take more time to set and space correctly, so labor costs climb. Weigh your style goals against the extra effort (and budget) each option requires before you decide.
You can leave tiles ungrouted for a short window, but only if the surface stays clean and undisturbed. Once the thin-set cures, finish the job as soon as possible. Use at least two millimeter spacers on walls and three millimeter spacers on floors to give grout room to bond and absorb normal expansion. Larger, rustic tiles may call for wider joints, while precision-cut porcelain often looks best with tighter gaps. Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and local code, and you’ll end up with an even, long-lasting layout.
