"Andy and his crew were top notch. We had snowscapes come out to check a few trees on a Friday and were able to remove on a Monday. Andy's prices are fair and his crew are extremely efficient They started at 8 am and pulled away by 11 am. I would highly recommend them to anyone!"

"Highly recommend Mueller tree service. Outstanding work done by Brandon and his very experienced crew. They took a very tall beech tree that was extremely close to my house and garage and systematically removed it in a very selective and controlled manner. Very nice low cut on the tree stump and excellent job site cleanup. Also took down two other trees and cleaned up branches hanging over my house. All at a very reasonable price. You won't be disappointed."

"Colt’s property service has done multiple projects for me and has done a good job with all of them. Most recently he regraded underneath my deck. And replaced the old footings. It was very tight and tricky to get a machine in, but he managed with no problems. Would definitely recommend going forward."

"Joseph contacted me and came out for an estimate quickly. We agreed on a price to take down the one tree I had concerns about, and he found another tree that was dangerous to the structure so he threw that into the deal for about 20% more money. He got the work done over a few days and hauled everything away. The only thing I would have preferred is if he cut the stumps down instead of leaving 2-3 feet of stump. Otherwise, him and his guys were courteous, pretty professional, and did the job I asked of them. I will definitely call Joseph and his crew if I need more trees removed, but next time I will ask he remove the stumps as much as possible. But me not specifying that stumps must be removed before the work began is on me and I don't blame Joseph for that."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Saylorsburg, PA

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
