"It went great!!! The day before the work was done, Dustin came by to check out the project and give me an estimate. The first thing I was impressed with is that he called me when he was about a half hour away and said he was on his way. That gave me time to be prepared. When he got here, right away he could tell the Japanese Maple had a fungus problem. He gave me quote for the work to be done on both trees and we set it up for the next day. The next day - same thing! I got a call from him and his brother Rusty telling me they would be here within the hour. (Who does that anymore....give a courtesy call?!?!) I was so impressed. They got here and Rusty went right to work and pruned and shaped up the Japanese Maple that I hardly recognized it was the same tree!! It was a beautifully done job!! He then sprayed the tree trunks for the fungus issue. In the meantime, Dustin was getting prepped to get up into the large birch. They do not use a bucket truck, but rather a harness and ropes. He was up there (I could hardly see him behind all the branches) and then branches started coming down. Before he came down he got my attention on the ground to see if there was anything else I could see that needed pruning out. I gave him the 100% beautiful job signal and he came down then. They got everything chipped up, raked up, cleaned up with barely a single flower broke over down around the base of the trees. The price was incredibly reasonable and I would recommend Tillis Tree Care for anyone who needs pruning and tree work taken care of. The price listed here is "after" the discount."

"It was a short visit and a great experience all around. We have moved into a new home with a beautiful cedar tree that was losing branches and we would hate for it to die. Logan Collier happened to be in my neighborhood on another job and was able to meet with us that day and identify the tree and the problem. The tree would continue to drop some branches, but it would live. I was relieved to hear this and it was great to see that Logan was truly interested in the health of our tree. He let us know what steps we could take to correct the situation and was candid about the chances for success. There was no pressure to upsell which was refreshing. In the end we opted to let nature take its course with a bit of help from their special blend of fertilizer and mycorrhizae. "The crew that did the work (Kris, Justin, Robin, and Gary) were professional and very experienced. They arrived on time and used their skills to complete the job within about 5-6 hours. They also did an great service to me by insuring that the remaining wood was cut into movable pieces and placed nicely in one location. "Our painted concrete pavers were in poor shape, especially after overly aggressive pressure washing by another company that chipped paint in many places. Ulises submitted a highly competitive bid after coming out to view the pavers; he also seemed the most knowledgeable and capable contractor for the job. He did not disappoint. He took it upon himself to pressure wash most of the pavers again, to prepare them for repainting, and trimmed plants that intruded on the stones. He and two other people took great care to apply new coats of paint to the pavers in a smooth fashion, with extra attention to edges that were particularly degraded. The result was fantastic; the pavers have been restored to their previous glory. I would highly recommend Ulises for his wide-ranging knowledge and skills, and his honesty and responsiveness. He also completed the work weeks to months ahead of the proposed timelines from other contractors."
