"They replaced my driveway walkway and patio with pavers in the front yard. I also had them build a deck in the back yard. All the work was designed beautifully. The work was done much faster than I expected. There was extra done to make my back yard look complete. I would hire them again."

"We hired System Pavers to install a new outdoor patio in our backyard. Austin was amazing! He was very attentive to what we wanted and worked with us to project end and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new outdoor patio."

"My wife and I hired Forest Landscape to remove our old rotted pressure treated retaining wall by our Koi pond and replace with natural black basalt rock. They also removed our wood raised garden walls and replaced with paver stone with a top cap. They also removed our badly installed basalt rock pathway that was loose and lifting up. The rock pathway was installed only three years ago by Cornerstone Hardscapes. Forest Landscapes installed a stamped concrete pathway where the basalt rock pathway was removed Jose and Rigo Castaneda were very professional to work with and there crew were real craftsman with attention to detail. They showed up on time and worked even on Saturday to finish project on time. We will hire them again for any future projects."

"I was impressed by the quality of the product and Jeff Garcia's promoting of the System Pavers. Mike Cowan oversaw the installation and worked to correct a problem with one of the pieces of turf. The replacement was installed this morning and my yard looks beautiful!"

"I needed a drip irrigation system for my patio pots installed before I left on vacation. I had called a couple other companies and even though I got an estimate from one, they couldn't install anything for 8-10 weeks. Andrew was able to come out and install the system the following week, and did the extra work of actually linking the irrigation system to all my individual pots. His price ended up being much lower than my other estimate, because he realized that the system I had in place was better prepped than other vendors had determined. I was very pleased with the overall experience, and previously had been getting very frustrated trying to find someone to do this."

"We hired Paul to replace 15 windows in our home and we are very happy with the results. Paul was easy to work with and highly communicative from the bidding process through the project completion. The work that he did with his colleague Mark is outstanding. They were able to match the window and trim stains to the original windows we left in place. Furthermore, we feel confident that everything was done correctly and will withstand the elements for years to come."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Scappoose, OR

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
